    Image Uploaders

So, what image uploaders do you usually use?

Generally I used to use Photobucket a lot for my own stuff, but for a while now, it's been pretty sluggish and despite even paying for a Pro account, it still feels like a stick in the mud. I mainly use it only for signatures, which I can honestly say I haven't made too many lately.

Lately, I've been using Imgur for all the "little stuff" like funny animated GIFs and so on, and it's been pretty good. It seems quick and simple and I haven't had any issues with it.

So, which ones do you typically use and why?

I always used photobucket myself but haven't needed to host any images in years. Shame to hear it's subpar now, especially since you forked out and all. I guess I'll be shopping around if the need ever arises!

I've been using Photobucket since I started on the net and I've never had a problem with it. Except for that one phase where they decided to scramble all the image names you uploaded for privacy reasons or something. That was ridiculously annoying.

In between I've used Imageshack and tinypic. Imageshack has changed now and wants you to make an account, and tinypic is unreliable and they often delete old pictures/replace them with others which makes them a bother. So I've gone back to Photobucket again lately. I do use imgur to upload things that I haven't made myself but that I need a URL for, like official Pokemon art. I tend to keep everything I've made on Photobucket just because it feels more secure there and I can delete it whenever I want, too.

Tinypic! I used to use Photobucket, but I don't need a place to store all my images, since they're on my computer and backed up onto my hard drive. Plus, the image links from tinypic are usually a lot smaller, and I love to abuse that effect. C:

Photobucket for me. I've been using it for years, & while it's been stupidly slow lately, I'm patient enough to stay on it. A lot of my stuff is on there too, so I don't want to have to go through the trouble of changing image hosts right now. .-.

I always have used Photobucket. I've never in my life used a different one more than once or so, and I've been with Photobucket since my early PE2K days. It's always been good to me, and I've never had a reason to ditch it. :)

I used Imageshack in the past, but something happened with it last I checked that made it annoying to use in some way I can't remember, so I use Tinypic or my server.

Same. =/ I liked Imageshack a lot better than Photobucket. I used to use Photobucket years ago, then switched over to Imageshack because Photobucket kept resizing my images. However, Imageshack became a paid service, I'm pretty sure, and so I had to move back to Photobucket. =/ Which has improved, but it's not as useful as Imageshack, in my opinion. Never liked Tinypic; it gives me issues and sometimes images hosted on that site don't show up for me and I have no clue why.

So nowadays I use Photobucket because it's free and also Sta.sh on DeviantART for actual pictures. For little derpy thing and sprites I just use Photobucket though. xD
