Conventions are intimidating at first, but it grows on you pretty fast. One of the workers told me it can be very addictive and I almost immediately saw what she meant by that. I felt right at home. I'm the biggest geeky weirdo I know, and I was amongst thousands of others geeky weirdos that weekend. It was fantastic.

I reiterate, though.. you need to save your money. I know people who spend thousands of dollars at this convention every year. I went there with 200 dollars and lost it in a couple of hours. I'm going to accumulate about 500-600 for next year's comic con and hope it pans out a little better for me, financially.

Despite finances, it was actually a lot of fun. There's video game areas, TCG areas, a zombie shooting simulator where you fire pellets at cardboard zombies. There's actually a lot to do that I didn't even list. So you're never actually bored unless you're standing in line. There was a point that, if I had the money, I would have been able to just walk up to the entire cast of Charmed because there weren't a lot of people in their lines.
