    Sound of 2014

Since we are just days to the end of 2014, I thought it'd be great to share what we thought were the best albums released in 2014. Let's not just stop there. What did you think was/were the greatest singles of the year? New debuting acts of 2014? The list isn't exhaustive!

Ghost Stories by Coldplay for me. :D It sounds a lot like their old stuff and I like it better than the style of Mylo Xyloto. :D The song True Love on there is my favourite.

Time to answer my own thread, especially with 2014 over~ XD

Honestly 2014 couldn't top 2013 in terms of music for me, but there are still contenders for Album of the Year. Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey released imo their best album yet with 1989 and Ultraviolence respectively. As for debuting musicians, FKA Twigs' LP1 and BANKS' Goddess were flawless. Honorable mentions to Lykke Li's I Never Learn, Foster the People's Supermodel, Tycho's Awake and Alt J's This Is All Yours. Best EP goes to Broods' Broods. Best film soundtrack? Has to be Mockingjay Part I. Lorde did an amazing job with that.

Going into the Orient, I really loved EGOIST's new material -- Fallen. Kanon Wakeshima also did a brilliant job composing the opening theme for Selector Infected WIXOSS and Selector Spread WIXOSS.

My two favorite albums of 2014 were Somewhere Somehow by We The Kings and Turn Blue by the Black Keys.
