Nintendo Direct Airs January 14th, With Focus on Spring 2015 Games

Nintendo have announced that a Nintendo Direct broadcast will be happening tomorrow, with information about upcoming games for Spring (Northern Hemisphere)/Autumn (Southern Hemisphere) 2015. It will be hosted by the President of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, along with Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata.
It is unknown whether the Nintendo Direct will contain any Pokemon news, although an announcement of a new game sometime soon is expected, considering no known Pokemon games (besides Pokken Tournament – an arcade game for Japan) are in the works. Pokemon X and Y were announced in a Nintendo Direct broadcast in January two years ago.
Nintendo Direct will broadcast at the following time:

• USA: 6am PT, January 14th
• Europe: 3pm CET, January 14th
• Australia/New Zealand: 1am AEDT, January 15th

NEW POKEMON GAME PLZZZZ

Even a spin off or something. Usually there were spin offs being made ALL THE TIME! 6th gen has been so quiet though. I wonder if it's because it's harder to make games in 3D?!

I remember watching the X and Y announcement with you... :') I don't have the logs, but I remember dying over Fennekin.

I really hope this will contain an announcement for a new Pokemon game. Preferably Kalos' third installment, but I'd also really like a Mystery Dungeon, a 3D Pokemon Ranger, or maybe a Gen VI Pokemon Conquest! :D inb4 nothing pokemon-related

I'm really hoping they don't do a BW2 thing again unless they make the games REALLY different. I don't want to dish out for two sequels that are practically the same as the first games. ;_;

Jeez, Corey--you know everything about Pokemon. Does everyone remember back when we accused him of conspiring with Game Freak? xD I'm actually expecting it to be a Zelda-heavy Direct, and any Pokemon news will be surprising ^^'

@Speed: Ever since Mystery of Mew and Black and White, I've been hooked on the idea of the medieval Pokemon world xD We'll have to see, though :P They definitely need to flesh out Zygarde, though. Its concept is actually pretty vague to me ^^'

But you know, if we go under the assumption that they're trying to surprise us, then anything is possible. Like Pikachu in Space. Star Fennekin.

Yes but at least that was only one game xD Which isn't so bad.

I'd love to see a game set in the past. I've always hoped they'd do a prehistoric kinda game with ask the fossil Pokemon alive and a bunch of other dinosaur inspired Pokemon. xD

This is exciting! :D I imagine they'll have information on LoZ: Majora's Mask 3D, which is supposed to be coming out this year. Zelda WiiU news would be cool, too :D Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I'd also like to hear some Fire Emblem news, too xD

I was just wondering the other day about a sequel to X and Y; maybe it's too soon, since ORAS just came out, but I still have to wonder--if they do make sequels, will it be like BW2? Or will we have a Pokemon Z?

Junichi Masuda candidly said in an interview that they would not be doing Pokemon Z, because fans would "expect" it, which is apparently the same reason they didn't go Grey. I really have no idea whether it'll be a sequel, a prequel, or a new adventure all together. Could even be a combination of Kalos and Hoenn, or maybe like Johto and add a new region. GF has been breaking some patterns lately, so there's no way to know!

Actually, I do remember seeing somewhere that Nintendo / Gamefreak wanted to be able to pump out one new main series Pokemon game each year from here on out, and that's what they were working on doing.

They also said something along the lines of how everyone is expecting a Z Version and how they wanted to change things up again a bit. Which would be super cool
