Digimon Tamers 2.0 (sequel to Season 3)

Prologue: It had been fifteen years since the D-Reaper was defeated. However, a new series of threats are attempting to destroy the Digital World, and eventually the Earth. Takato and his friends are in their late twenties, and a new group of eight Tamers and their Digimon partners, have been carefully selected by the Four Holy Beasts Azulongmon, Ebonwumon, Baihumon, and Zhuqiaomon to go to the Digital World and eliminate these enemies.

However, these new Tamers are not Japanese, but New Yorkers, yet also share many traits with the Tamers of 2001.

They will have upgraded versions of the Digivices that Takato and the others used, but in watch form: The DX-Watch.

(Note: Each odd-numbered Chapter will focus on "Group 'A', while each even-numbered Chapter will focus on Group 'Z'")

I will introduce the new characters as soon as I figure which Digimon they should have. Some will be created just for this story, and others will be official Digimon I really like that need some love.

I have made up seven Rookie Digimon total, and the eighth Rookie will be one who is extremely underrated.

Group A
Squamamon is a Data attribute lizard-like Digimon. Attacks include Acid Flame and Gecko Strike.
Monmon is a Virus attribute primate like Digimon and the only Digimon out of the current eight to NOT be made up by me. Attacks include Swing Sling and Mischievous Hoop.
Bafuumon is a Neutral attribute cow-like Digimon. Attacks include Rampant Hooves and Cow Lick.
Robinmon is Vaccine attribute bird Digimon. Attacks include Tickle Blade and Feather Arrows.

Group Z

Karkerromon is a Shark-like Vaccine attribute Digimon. Attacks include Aqua Fang and Sneaky Slash.
Mirumon is a mongoose-like Neutral attribute Digimon. Attacks include Stun Knuckle and Sand Blades.
Zapmon is a mosquito-like Virus attribute Digimon. Attacks include Blitz Kiss and Shadow Needles.
Cholomon is a sloth-like Data attribute Digimon. Attacks include Barrel Roll and Noxious Yawn.
