Alice and Aster finally arrived back at the entrance to Viridian City. She hoped Davis and Tyler were following behind.

When she got there, she saw Max, along with Brandon and Ethan. They seemed to be waiting for the rest of the trainers.

She walked over shyly. "Our team managed to catch 5 Bellsprout, an Oddish, a Dodrio, a Shuppet and an Absol," she said, a little proudly. "I hope we didn't miss any!"

Alice was really looking forward to heading into the City where she was born. She wondered if her old house was still there and whether it still looked the same. She also knew that one of her favourite kinds of Pokemon could be found nearby, so was excited to do some exploring of her own.

By her side, Aster slumped to the ground. He had been tired out from the long day. She scooped him up to give his legs a rest. She knew she could return him to his Pokeball but she liked having the little Pokemon's company.
