    School subjects

Have you been sleeping through History classes? Finding ways to be excused from Physical Education? Do you look forward to every chemistry class? Participate actively during Spanish lessons?

    What is/are your favourite(s) and least favourite(s) subject(s) you've taken?

    Hmm...

In high school, I really liked anything social studies (history, geography, world issues, native studies...), biology and English (having a teacher that let us chose our own reading material was awesome). I also liked the theory parts of astronomy and chem.

I've always had a rough time with math, so anything involving the crunching of numbers is a challenge for me. As such, I tend not to like those types of classes so much. Though, after grade 9, I took consumer level math, which was actually pretty fun overall.

The creative classes like art and photography were fun, but since I lack talent in those fields, my grades weren't the best. And since I wanted top grades, I axed them after tenth grade.

And lastly, any gym class after elementary school was bad. I remember having 24 minute runs in high school. If too many people were walking at the end, they'd add minutes back, or even reset the clock. Being a weak runner, it was freaking horrible DX

I'm really just a science guy. I really loved biology, so I started taking animal classes like Wildlife Biology, Animal Science I, and Zoology. I loathe math, even though science and math are seen as pairs. :P

I liked most of my subjects at school. Different years, I liked different subjects more, depending on what we were learning and who was teaching it.

I hated biology in year 11 for example, because it was all about body systems. While in year 12 we started doing genetics and I completely fell in love with it. I really enjoyed chemistry as well, and I loved year 11 maths but hated year 12 due to the teacher being terrible. English was always alright, but I never really enjoyed history or economics or any social studies subjects. I guess I'm not really interested in human life. xD I enjoyed art and especially this robotics class I did in year 9 where we got to program things. I knew I needed maths/science for university though, so I didn't pursue any art subjects.

PE classes were always my favourite because they were easy and fun. I am very competitive and love sport. I can imagine they would really suck if you weren't into sport though. My favourite thing to play was dodgeball. :D

I can relate so much. I love biology (especially on a gene and molecular level) and chemistry (although physical chemistry not so much), but I cannot for the life of me do math. Calculus and complex numbers are tougher than Greek. In a similar vein, physics is the bane of my educational life.

Literature and English lessons have always been my top favourites. I took Art for two years; I didn't really like it mostly due to my lack of talent lol. I participated in a Drama class once; though I was more motivated by the acting make-up. XD

    I hate PE because it's mostly running and a bunch of games that I opine to be threatening to my health ;-;

Sadly, I only took a couple of art classes in high school. The ones I did take were a lot of fun, though, and I learned quite a bit about techniques that I wasn't familiar with before, such as crippling and how exactly perspective works. Well, on a technical level, anyway. And I took a jewelry class, which was really neat. At first we worked with a lot of copper wire and stuff to make bracelets, necklaces, etc. After a while, though, we actually learned how to make glass beads. It was kinda a struggle with some of the glass rods, though, because certain colors just wouldn't heat up fast enough.

Being a Psych student, I've also really loved psychology. Less of the medical aspect, though; I'm more into the social field of it.

I also took this basic biology class in my first year or so of college, which was actually really interesting! I learned, like, a lot from that. The only class I actually passed with an A in my two years of college, hah. Then again I'm sure it was because most of the grade was weighed by exams and in class assignments, soooo yeah

And I don't totally hate math. Algebra is a really helpful thing to learn that actually kinda helps you here and there in the real world, but...when I got to college algebra, I just shut down. It was awful. I passed, though. Bleh. The thing about math subjects is that I tend to make a lot of little mistakes which throws everything off

Ohhhh and I LOVED my German classes in high school. Thanks to that, I actually got to travel to Germany in 2011.
That and some other surrounding countries, ttoo
