Alice smiled when Meg walked over. "You ready to move ?" she asked.

"Yep," Alice replied. She had been watching her Pichu play in the tree branches. Alice began to walk when suddenly she heard a hissing sound. A purple snake was curled up around a nearby tree branch, and Paprika was headed straight for it.

"Aster!" Alice cried. The Ivysaur sprung into action, running forward and shooting out a strong vine, which wrapped around Paprika and brought her safely to the ground.

"Chuchu!" Paprika yelled angrily, sparks flying. She didn't understand why Aster had stopped her game.

"Saur, ivy!" Aster replied, motioning to the tree. The Ekans had begun to slither down to the ground, not ready to give up on having Pichu for lunch.

"Pipi!" Paprika sweatdroped and thanked Aster, then turned toward the Ekans, which had reached the ground by now.

"Ready to battle?" Alice asked.

"Pichu!" Paprika nodded.

"Alright, Thundershock!"

Sparks flew from the electric mouse's cheeks and zapped the Ekans, causing it to hiss madly. The snake recovered quickly and leapt at the Pichu, who narrowly dodged the poisonous fangs.

"Hit it with Quick Attack!" Alice instructed.

As the Ekans came in for another attack, Paprika dodge around it with Quick Attack and hit it in the back of the head.

The Ekans hissed angrily again, shook itself off and shot poison goo at Paprika.

"Dodge!" Alice commanded, and Paprika leapt into the air, releasing another Thundershock. The stunned snake crumpled to the ground.

Alice grabbed a Pokeball and threw it.

The ball pinged and Alice retrieved it. Paprika looked at it distrustfully. "Don't worry, the Ekans is locked inside here, it can't hurt you now."

Paprika still seemed a bit miffed that Alice intended to bring the snake along with them. She climbed onto Aster's back and allowed the dinosaur to carry her as they walked.
