Back inside the Pokemon Center, with Cirtus perched on her head like some kind of strange hat, Alice wandered around looking at the different screens and TVs. She found a quiet corner of the center and released her new Pokemon.

The Igglybuff blinked a few times before bursting into tears. Alice's eyes widened. "Hey, don't be afraid," Alice said, bending over the small pink Pokemon. "I'm your trainer, we'll take good care of you."

"Free free!" Citrus said happily. "Free! Butterfree!"

"B- Buff?" the Iggybuff sobbed.

"Freeee!"

Citrus flew over to the Igglybuff and picked her off the ground. Alice expected her to start bawling again but she laughed happily when Citrus flew her through the air.

"I'm going to call you Poppy," Alice smiled.

She reached for her next Pokeball. A Cleffa appeared. Alice wondered if she would be afraid too, but she looked straight up at Citrus and Poppy and let out a huge grin. "Cleffa! Fa!" she cried. Alice imagined she was asking to go next.

"And you'll be Clover," Alice said.

She watched the three Pokemon play, grateful to Citrus for helping to take care of them. The Butterfree was also getting some training in, by lifting the baby Pokemon. Poppy and Clover seemed to become immediate friends, with the shy and timid Igglybuff being looked after by the more excitable Cleffa.

Meanwhile Alice introduced herself and named her other three Pokemon. Almond the Sentret, Zero the Zubat and Spore the Paras seemed happy with their new names. Zero wasn't fond of being in the bright indoor lights so Alice returned him. Almond and Spore began to chatter amongst themselves.
