    Salutations o/

    Hey, everyone! I'm not new here, but given my lack of activity since joining, you may consider me new!

    I go by Lucy, though calling me Alice is fine, too. (I may or may not get a new username. Don't know yet.) I've been playing Pokemon well over ten years, with my favorite games being BW/BW2, PMD: Explorers of Sky, and Gale of Darkness. I'm also into numerous video games (particularly JRPGs, adventure/puzzle games (such as Legend of Zelda), and tactics games), and animanga (especially shounen fantasies). That being said, I'm always open to video game/animanga suggestions, even if they don't fall under my usual preferences!

    As for hobbies, I enjoy making graphics—right now, I'm focusing on gifs—and writing. I hope to do a mix of graphic design and novel/short story writing once I graduate college.

    Anyway, it's nice to meet you all, and I hope to stick around this time!

    Well then, welcome back! :D I love the Orre spinoffs, too. Especially Colosseum...well, since it brings back fond memories. But with XD, I love it because of how much more refined it is. It revolves around a very similar story as Colosseum, but takes place X amount of years after the events of the aforementioned game. BW2 took the same route, and it worked out pretty awesomely.

    And don't even get me started on PMD Darkness/Time/Sky AAAAAAA
    When I played through the story on Time, I cried at the end. Of course. But when I played Sky, I cried at the end even harder. Even though you know what's going to happen, it's just that the music creates SUCH an atmosphere and the characters' reactions are just so believable and ;_;
    The whole story was full of twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire game during my first playthrough. I love Sky the most though because it's just so much more refined. There's more content added to it.

    BUT before my tangent gets any longer WELCOME BACK HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR STAY THERE'S SO MUCH TO DO

    I've actually found I prefer the Pokemon "sequels", with me liking XD over Colo and BW2 over BW (and, if you want to count them, GSC/HGSS over RGBY/FRLG). I know GF tends to iron out the kinks from their predecessor(s), but that really does make a difference!

    The music in the PMD games is the best, imo <3 And the plot twists are excellent! They're still the only Pokemon games to make me tear up. I'm really hoping another one will come out soon. (And have it be at least as good as Explorers of Sky; I liked Gates to Infinity but it just wasn't as good :c)

    Hi Lucy, glad you decided to come back! (Alice is also my favourite name!)

    You should post some of your graphics and writing here!

    What did you like so much about the gen 5 games? :) I loved XD and PMD as well. I've been meaning to get Gates to Infinity but I have heard it's not that good so I haven't gotten around to it. I kinda wanna go back and play Darkness now haha.

    Anyway, hope you have fun and stick around! If you ever wanna chat or need help, don't hesitate to contact me :)

    Welcome back to PXR, Alice!

    And yeah, I'm like you, more interested in the spinoff games than the mainstream stuff. And yes, PMD really knows how to hit you HARD in the feels. Great storytelling and music.

    Here's to happy hanging out!
