I can understand that. I actually hate losing anything, even if it isn't a serious competition. xD But I do my best to chill out about it. It's totally up to you whether you join in certain things or not. The main idea is having fun, and if you don't find it fun to compete like that, that's totally cool. :D

Haha... Do you see that? That sentence, right there. You and I, we're not so different. That's the same fear I've been trying to uproot from myself ever since my first WAR.

I suppose what I said last post is how I've justified my performance, whether I took third or came in dead last. And hey, maybe that'll work for you, maybe not. This is all your choice. Whatever happens, I think if you go ahead and try, even if you do regret it, you'll be happy you chose that over never having tried at all.

It's not that I don't want to have fun. I do but… well I haven't been on here long enough for you guys to know about my years prior to high school very well. To touch on it briefly, every time I entered a contest prior to high school, I usually didn't win. The rich kids were the ones who always won and if one of the "outcasts" like myself joined in and lost, the rich kids made sure we never lived it down. I guess it's become somewhat of a fear of mine of not being good enough because when I was in middle school, I never was and I was never allowed to move past it.

Yeah well when I actually get around to kissing a person, or even really crushing on someone since I've never had a first crush, I'll let you know how that works out. But until then *shrug*. Like I mentioned above and in countless other posts around the site, I have severe insecurity issues. Not even ten minutes ago I was getting lectured by my mother for being overweight. I'm not allowed to be no matter where I go so instinctively I shy away from expressing myself because of my past. It's not excuse but… there's nothing I can do about it really.

I mean, don't feel like we're forcing you to do anything. Like we've said, everything is your choice. Do what you feel is right. We understand, whatever choice it is you make. Eh, I suppose I'll just leave it at that.

And here I go again. *sigh* I need to get better at social interaction.

I knew what you meant. I was just explaining that in my case, I'm a neutral party to either side. It's not your fault for digging this up. It happens every time j debate doing something. I don't really have any support at home and I wear my heart on my sleeve so this comes up a lot. It actually tends to drive people away which is why I don't have many friends. I'm sorry I shouldn't have brought it up.

We'll see when it comes to it. I'll probably participate in whatever I can but… just don't get any high hopes about my works becsuse nothing I've ever done in anything is really good.

Don't worry, Janobii :) All we're saying is do whatever you feel like doing when the time comes, and whether you win or not doesn't matter to us. We still think you are awesome and are glad you joined our team! :D

I'm sorry you had a tough time before highschool and with your mum. I think you're one of the nicest and friendliest people I know! You should be proud of that. :D

I always had trouble getting along with people my own age too. Even now I am on a Pokemon forum talking mostly to teenagers haha. But that's because I guess the things I am interested in are generally for younger people, or at least seen that way by society. I was never bullied or anything and I had a group of friends, but I didn't have anyone I was close to or would have meaningful conversations with in high school. I went to an all girls' school and I just had nothing in common with them! It didn't help that I was too shy to share any of my real interests, either. As soon as I got the internet, I was online in most of my spare time (and all the time I should have been doing homework xD) and met so many great people and finally felt understood. After high school I met heaps of awesome people in real life who share my interests (including some from PXR!) and it's been amazing! I promise you things will get better. :)

Conspiracy theories are kind of cool. I find them interesting. Do you have a favourite one or one that you believe most strongly?

At this point I've been blessed these past few years to have been somewhat popular. Everyone knows me and for once the nickname isn't derogatory (or if it is then I'm not taking it as such). I'm know as "the girl who goes above and beyond." Besides the occasional not nice word thrown at me because some people still can't understand why I don't want a boyfriend or that thing that shan't be named but we all know what it is, I don't get much offensive stuff thrown at me. I'm actually somewhat popular. I was nominated for homecoming princess this year, I didn't win but it was still pretty cool to even be nominated. Then of course I've gotten a ton of popularity from getting honorable mention in a film contest for the past two years (I intend to win this coming year because the theme is "Let your imagination fly!" which is like my calling) and for the fact that I managed to take over like half of a Model United Nations conference as North Korea (it's an extremely long but hilarious story). Now I've been nominated for head of the book club, speech and debate team, and the model United Nations team. I'll be happy to just getting nominated but from what it sounds like, I've won Debate team and MUN. So needless to say, I've recovered a lot since everything I went through but the internet is where I truly made my recovery. There was a site I was on called Fusemon where I met my main cast of friends that have stuck with me ever since. Without them, I don't know if I'd even be on this site.

My favorite conspiracy theory is probably all the rumors around John F. Kennedy's death. I actually have a pretty interesting theory about it if you'd like to hear. Though two recent ones I've been looking over are government surveillance and the AP US History exam dilemma. I'd be willing to discuss any or all if you're up for it.
