Eh, not really specific posts. Just witty banter between friends on whether Neo or Sarah make better team-related banners. I'm still supporting Neo cause I like his style, but just wanted to say I really like hers too for other reasons. The trainers and the cleanliness of them.

At least in the American South, calling someone with authority "Mister X/Miss [First Name]" is considered polite.

It also depends on the person. Not everyone likes being called by a proper term like that because it makes them feel old lol.

I'm glad you like the banner! And no worries about being busy. :) You should definitely start Photoshop again! I'd love to see what you can do! Haha I noticed Eri joined another team, but that's okay! The more people joining in the WAR, the better for PXR!

You can check out last year's WAR threads if you want some examples of how the sections might be run, but it really depends on the judges as to how they run things, so it might be completely different this year. Lol it's all good. The friends I invited to join all come from the same site and we kinda mess around and joke with each other with that term a lot. "Traitor" and terms like that when they let someone down, it's all fun and games. It does add more rivalry and WAR better for PXR for sure! Thanks for the link I'll be sure and check some of them out. Even if it's a small idea of how things may be held it'll help with a little thought process rather than constantly thinking what this could be or what may or may not happen.

It's been about 2 years since I've even tried working with learning more Photoshop skills and techniques. Though I really only successfully (in beginner stages) completed 3 banners/sigs over the years each with little improvements.

I could've probably improved much more, but with how bad I am with computers (somehow I'm notorious for having computer trouble within a year of purchasing a new one) it wouldn't give me much time to work with it much. Thought it probably doesn't help that I've got CS3 and not the latest version lol.

Thanks! Though each of those I made were only created with an image and brushes (besides the last one I believe). I didn't add any effects, shadow/shading or any of the sort. Now knowing (even a small detail) about other effect if I got more brushes and the latest version of Photoshop I could stand to be better at creating them. The only thing I think I'd rather work on is how to cut images and put them into a transparent background to use for later. Can probably tell in those I posted how some parts were cut out that shouldn't. The Pikachu is kinda edgy in places and the lightning brush I tried using for an effect light lightning sparkng from the cheeks didn't show off very well, some of Isaac's hair was cut near the ends, Shikamaru in the last one I'd say turned out the best as I was able to use the best area and not those cut off, but I forgot to save the actual Photoshop file to edit later on and found out after I saved the images and closed it down, I left some brushes covering the image leaving some green brushes over the image itself. The text is kinda blended with the background as well. Either way it'd just take more practice is all and gathering some effects, brushes, good renders to use or images to crop out and turn into renders for a model. A little practice and working with it is all it would take. I think what really pushed me to stop was trying to learn how to make a banner/sig into a gif rather than a still png format. The guides I was using at the time were....not the best lol

Well more or less it is like Phoenix Wright in terms of how you move on the map from place to place but yeah, the way you interact with people is in 3rd person view, so you see Layton and the others interacting with each other and looking from your perspective view at the characters in PW. And I apologise if my explanation isn't clear enough as I suck at explaining things at times ^^;

And when you interact with another character or an object around that area and a '!' appears in red, it means there's a puzzle to solve. And these puzzles are like your matching colour puzzle games, they're pretty much like logical problems you have to solve, kinda like the questions you'd get in a maths test *shudders* Ugh.. maths x.x My most disliked subject xD

But yeah the story of the Miracle Mask proved to be very amazing in my opinion and I loved everything about it ^^

Oh and Charaka, very well done, I really like the Pikachu banner and the others that you've made ^^ I also make banners from time to time as well, but I usually use Gimp, still only in beginner skills unfortunately though even though I've had gimp for around 1 or 2 years now. However, I'm still trying to improve and I'm always happy to learn new methods xD
