Such an annoying commercial!

Some of the commercials we see on TV and hear on the radio are so good, that we fondly remember them for a long time to come. Many others, however, are so annoying that we either press the mute button or change the channel as soon as they come on and wish they would just go away.

What are the most annoying television or radio commercials that you've seen/heard?

I always hit the mute button or change the channel for almost every ad concerning prescription drugs. There's those that pitch prescriptions directly to the consumer, in which they tout the benefits and list side effects, and always tell you to "tell your doctor about all the medicines you're taking", among other things. Then there's the endless stream of ads especially during daytime television about impending drug and implant lawsuits: my most hated ones are about Xarelto and the transvaginal mesh. Seems like every couple of weeks, some new lawsuit against some random drug is being advertised all over the place. Of course, your case will be referred if you call these ambulance chasers, and you're not going to get the "substantial compensation" that these trial lawyers claim you might get if you play along with their lawsuits.

Another genre of ads that annoy me are those pitching for-profit schools such as ITT Technical Institute, Dorsey Schools, and Ross Medical Education Center. Yea, I know I should become a pharmacy technician or medical assistant (and get myself deep in debt trying to do so!)

Those types of ads don't really exist here (thankfully). Actually those prescription drug adds were probably the thing I found strangest when I visited the US! :O The fact that they were obviously obligated to say all the side effects during the ad completely outweighed any benefits they were trying to highlight. So it seemed like a complete waste of time!

Personally I dislike ads that show anything gross. Like there are SO MANY ads for fungal nail creams and things. And they show the gross parts. Just what I need to see while eating dinner. >_>

I always laugh whenever I see the drugs ads because of a comedian I saw once. Pretty much, the medicine always fixes one thing but then lists like twenty side effects and it's like "is it really worth that trade?"

I find commercials that either repeat twice or have no seeming purpose at all the most annoying. Disney Channel is notorious for this. On top of this, there's once commercial that starts out as like a "buy this" ad then turns out to be a survey and I hate that too.

The Head On ad is the first thing that come to mind as the most annoying commercial I've ever seen. It's so overly repetitive and uninformative that it probably drove away customers rather than attract them.

I WAS JUST THINKING OF THIS ONE! Also, it's freaking WAX! This isn't even some medical breakthrough we're talking about here.
