Well my immune system is very strong against getting sick...usually I'm the last one in this house to get sick, but when I do it sticks around for weeks. That's compared to my family's 2-3 day sick period. Ugh, hate it, but I muddle through every time. It's not really painful unless it's effecting the sinuses pretty deeply. Then it causes some pretty stressful migraines.
I used to think I was pretty pain tolerant....until October of 2012. The month and year I had a spontaneous lung collapse (though I think after some thought I figured out what caused it). It was one of, if not, the most painful experience I've been through. Even weeks after, the recovery was a pain. It was almost like a phantom pain for where I had stictches and the tube placed. That feeling continued throughout the rest of the year. Now it's nothing more than a painful memory I hope I never have to experience ever again...or anyone else even for that matter.
