I Wanna Start a Family

Be honest. Do you think you'll ever want to start a family?

...Maybe. Part of me also feels like by the time I have secured enough money to raise and support a family, I'll be too physically old for it. Most young people aren't given enough money to start a family now, and I feel that's going to show when less people are starting families.

I agree with Emolga. At some point, yes. But now? No. Kids are expensive, and I want to be more financially stable.

Well...I am pretty stable right now, but let's face it: we don't really have the income to raise a kid right now. Not if we want to live happily, anyway. :P

Do I want to start a family now? Absolutely not. Why? Because I am literally in high school and I have no intentions of raising a child this early on in life.

Do I want to start a family later in life? Totally. I get that children are expensive but (as weird as this sounds) I have always wanted to get pregnant and give birth to a child and then raise that child. I don't want to miss out on that in life just because I don't have the money. I'd find a way to provide for the child just to make sure that I could raise it. My only fear is, I've been in such an unhealthy environment growing up, that I might be abusive to my child like my mom was to me without realizing that. That's probably my biggest fear of everything and one of the only things really holding me back from starting a family.

I'm not really sure. I do because I think its probably one of the most meaningful things you can do in life. but there are also so many other things I want to do, including having a professional career, which I think would be difficult if having kids, because I don't think there's much point having them and then leaving them in daycare or getting other people to raise them.

Not to mention overpopulation and pregnancy freaks me out.

So yeah, I dunno. I think it would be kind of sad to be old and not have a family though. Like kids and grandkids to visit and share holidays with!

I totally want to have a family. Granted right now I have not even got a girlfriend, yet alone married.

If I were to meet a girl today, my plan would probably be to get married either 2019 (final year of Uni for me) or 2020 (first year as a teacher). Then as for kids, well I'd hope id be earning enough as a teacher to make it. I'm just checked and the yearly wage is average $61000. Not sure how much that helps. But yeah I do want to have kids sometime. I see no need to wait once I am married other than practical things like money. And hey, bringing them into existence is half the fun ;)

I'm pretty certain I don't want to start a family. I don't like kids at all, and I'm easily stressed out, so I really don't want kids. I also have mental illnesses which may be genetically passable, so, even if I wanted kids, I wouldn't risk passing on debilitating mental ailments to them...I think I'd just be happy with a loving husband and some dogs and cats (and I'd also really like a pet fennec fox).

Yup, for sure I want a family at some point. Granted, some time after I get a good paying, stable job so their lives, as well as the family's can be financially secure....then again I'd have to find a wife before that all can even be thought of.

It'd be nice to have kids. Passing on the things I enjoyed growing up to them, both gaming wise and life lessons. Watching them enjoy things as a kid, seeing that bright smile from everything they enjoy. I'd love it! .....I hope I can pass that enjoyment of things like it I can still relate to (Pokemon included). Seriously, who wouldn't try to pass this enjoyment off to their offspring xD....or anything they enjoyed for that matter
