Photoshop has a lot of neat little things that make life easier. One trick I like to use when adding in highlights for things like the tree texture in that one digital painting with the dragon? Copy and paste the layer where I drew the grooves, move it a little, change the color, trim the extra off, then edit it some. Tadaa! Easy hard highlights. Some call it cheating, but I call it efficient. I typically do hand-draw the highlights though- just not on things THAT detailed. xD
You're free to look at some of the videos I've posted to learn different tricks. xD I typically follow a routine when it comes to most images, but every so often I do something different to save some time!
And sure- I'll send you the code! I plan on picking up more codes next time a bundle offers MTMTE. The last bundle limited me to getting 4 codes. </3 I think I'll be picking up random humble bundle codes of things I think are worth sharing in general- it's such a great way to introduce people to new series/movies/etc.
Well, from lining to finish. Sketch takes me maybe 10 minutes for the tokens. So 40 minutes. xD The token art is basically a more rushed version of my style while sticking a bit closer to official Pokemon designs. I work in a process- so as long as I'm following my habit, it goes pretty quickly. I think speed comes with time as you learn what looks good to you and such. More polished work would definitely take more time. PRS comic pages take me about 2-4 hours on average. (The latest one took just over 3)
As for the color choices, I'm trying to avoid repeats in the Prism set. I think I've got two more for the Pokemon Prism tokens (Unless @Speed-X wants me to add more to the set). Milotic and Ho-oh.
So
Red: Milotic
Orange/Yellow: Snivy
Green: Absol
Blue/Purple: Squirtle
RAINBOW: HO-OH

New art. I've been working on revamping the PRS Smackjeeves site. After updating the page resolution to 800px wide from the previous 600px, the site images sorta went ADFJGADF cause they all were meant for a 600px wide content area. The most notable thing that broke was the site background. Also the images I was using were really old- I even forgot some of the shading on some. So it was time to create new images for everything. I'm not done yet, but here's some of them! Apologies for the presentation of the Naya/Echo images. I'm too lazy to separate them from the BG image.
I'll have videos for these up soon. Naya/Echo took about 35 mins, Twins took about 20.
See them on the overall site!

Next images I'm doing are for the News page. I'll need at least one 800px wide image on every page to force stretch the content area to match that of the comic pages- otherwise the background looks weird. xD It's a big WIP
