I still don't understand how you can draw those so fast and still have them looking that awesome. *O* Great job as always, Neko. You're a master at lighting! And those process videos are awesome to look at, too.

Well, how fast I draw depends on the complexity of the image and how much practice I've gotten with the character. In the case of the characters in the last post, I'm pretty quick at drawing those guys now. Other characters like... ooohh- Ho-oh or Entei would take me significantly longer. I'm trying to improve my time without sacrificing quality though so I can crank out more comic pages. =D

And thank you! I love working on lighting- it's what I want to do in animation, actually! 3D lighting is a different process, but the principles are the same. Takes an eye for it and I think I might have that!

And absolutely. I think what we got for now is pretty good, but as I think of more incentives I'll just let you know!

And the process videos are fun. Takes a while to render out some of the longer ones, but if it helps even one person learn a trick or two, then mission accomplished!

Not new art, but I think I'll open a few free icon requests for the fun of it. Pokemon-only please! I'll make the images... how big are the avatar limits here? 150x150? I think so, so I'll probably make them around 600px then scale down- shouldn't take me long at those resolutions!

Pinging some people who may be interested/have posted in this thread. Not sure how long it'll take to get them done or if I'll be able to do all of them, but they'll be good for breaks/warm-ups from other more time-consuming work.
