Who's excited for Summer?!

It's been Rainy for 3 weeks now. Pretty syre that one week of real nice weather was my summer. It's fall now.
Maybe next year!

Homer: And in February, it's hot?
Lisa: Mm-hmm.
Homer: So it's opposite land! Crooks chase cops, cats have puppies!
Lisa: No, Dad, it's just the weather.
Homer: So hot snow falls up?

I don't really like summer. Too hot. =P

Usually I enjoy winter more, but I have a few summer plans. Might spend a long weekend at the beach, but we haven't set a date yet.

Also, I'm a huge nerd and love Renaissance Faires, so I'll be going to the one in Tuxedo, NY when that's around. They have an Original Character Cosplay Competition, so I think I'll give that a shot. And as most people know me, when there's an occasion to go in costume, I bring my A game. Even if I don't win anything, it should still be fun.

Summer used to be fun just because I could take that off and have it to myself and my family. The only thing is that it's too hot. Now I have work AND it's too hot. So I don't particularly like Summer no. It's far too hot hot me. Especially with the humidity. I prefer the cold and Winter months.

We had one week of really hot weather and now it's right back to raining, but it's always raining in England so that's not surprising really!! We've had some cool thunder storms recently.

I don't really have any plans except working. I have to cover a few shifts at my dad's company and I'm working at my university's open days. I'm also planning on making loads of stock for my Etsy shop, decluttering our apartment and writing a few in depth posts for my blog. The only really exciting thing is that I'm visiting Copenhagen with my sister, it's our first time away together so it should be fun!!

I am, because as Sarah and Xanthe said, it is the middle of winter and it is f***ing cold and wet. I only work once a week but I dread it in winter because I am cleaning tanks, pumps, vats etc, and end up freezing. That and the sun goes down early, so by the time I am driving home, I am struggling to stay awake and alert.

Take me back to when we could be outdoors as late as we wanted, seeing as even when it was dark, it wasn't freezing. The good weather. Spontaneous Blue Lake trips.

I HATE WINTER SO MUCH. The cold freezes me like an icicle. :c Doesn't help I'm so small. So yeah, I'm really looking forward to summer in six months, and getting two weeks off for the Christmas break.
