I sent my last batch of messages yesterday because I was thinking "Oh, well, since she's in ~~the future~~ Australia it's already the 14th there," then I get on today and see that today was actually the last day. Should I resend what I sent yesterday then?

Wow though, I wasn't particularly bothered or disappointed when I saw I only had four Pokemon, but when I got up today and saw that number had more than doubled, it totally made my morning.

Well it's the most depressing day of the year for me, but I'm glad to have such encouraging words from others to get me through the day.

Call me crazy but after reading your comment I thought of some other possible postbit event. You get a lot of icons for the first day only to have it halved on the following day or week. XD

Obviously mistakes are evanescent on the internet. (I fixed it! - Use Pokemon, not Pokémon, Pokèmon, or Pokëmon.... hahah)

Don't worry because you're definitely not alone there. Me and many others are in the same boat there xD. It's like a day all the singles are just left out and confused. If anything it's a good day to relax and just do the usual thing. Internet, video games, watch some tv show, all that good stuff =D

I'm actually working on a project and studying for stuff. Doesn't mean it's still not depressing though. Usually I'd ask my friends over to help me study, but the three friends I'd usually do that with are busy. The two gay guys left out Friday for a "romantic getaway" and won't be back until late Monday night. And my best friend from work had her boyfriend fly in from Spain for a surprise visit. I ain't interrupting that. My co-worker would not be pleased with me.
