Brock's performance totally enthralled the crowd. Gold was pouring in like water sprouting out of a fountain. Vaugns' eyes were fixed only on that. Having Brock on this journey was definitely a good asset.

@AWA1997; @Trainer17: As the crowd departed, Brock noticed Vaugn and Endentho watching coins raining in his instrument cases. "Oh! Finished exploring already?" he asked.

He notices all these tips are too much for one person to carry, so he divides the largest pile of tips into small bags, and gives one to him. "As we travel, I'll be happy to give you all a share of my tips. You may get a lot, and you may get a little, depending on who the audience is."

Vaugn hastily grabbed the gold pouch. His miseries disappeared in an instant. Vaugn was wise to hold onto his urges. That money will come into use later.

"Hey Brock. I came across someone named Serena. She and her friend Ash are guides to a nearby forest. Are they the ones accompanying us to the first labyrinth. .?"

@Trainer17: Brock nods. "They will be meeting us by the sage's library to help us prepare for our expedition."

He smiles as he hears the flute, now playing scales as the two of you pass by the training grounds. "In fact, you should have heard Ash before you saw him."

He motions for you to follow him down a wooded path by the training grounds, where a black haired mage in a magnificent red, white, and gold costume is leaning against a tree, practicing on a simple side blown flute with a flame design painted on it and a red tassel on one end, with two flame points resembling Pikachu ears near the embouchure hole. A female Pikachu sits nearby on a rock, listening to her master practice.

Vaugn eagerly follows Brock, as they were supposed to meet up with two close friends of his, who supposedly would assist them in a journey through the first labyrinth. Vaugn wasn't one too fond of key figures, so he let that slide a little, and hoped the others would join them soon, wherever they might be at the moment...

@Trainer17: About then, the red mage looks up to see Brock and Vaugn watching him practice. "Oh hi!" he smiles as he returns his instrument to his sleeve and gets up to hug his friend. "I thought you were searching for the Celestial Harp of Rainbows."

"I was...until Meloetta appeared to me and told me the horrifying truth about my quest--Lysandre wanted that holy instrument to raise an undead army..."

As Brock fills Ash in on the story so far, his Pikachu sniffs Vaugn and makes a disgusted face at the smell of wine wafting from him
