That is a really awesome and super well-done Pikachu. It makes you really want to give him a hug, even if it means getting zapped.

I was right, your sketches are definitely magical and they really make you smile. :D

I don't know why I didn't see it earlier but that Pikachu reminds me of Richie's Pikachu with the little tuff of hair.

Oh yeah, Sparky is similar. Although his bangs are facing down. xD

@Lunar Latias Well to quote Neo "sleep is overrated" *sorry if text wall again...feel the need I have to respond to it all =3

Anyway yeah somehow these artworks you create have some magic to them. Have the power to make anyone smile AND wake you up at 5 in the morning xD. Better than any alarm clock I've ever seen lol. Not even joking about it either. Somehow I woke up right at 5 and after seeing that....I just couldn't get back to sleep :p

haha, yeah it's just fuzzy enough. Right amount of fuzzies right there xD. There's no way I wouldn't print something as awesome as this out! The printer warned me it was low on ink. I hit 'ok' and didn't care one bit xD came out looking perfect either way! Too bad I did't have larger paper though =3

yeah I feel the same way there. I hate leaving people out of it (especially it's a question and not closed).

but once again THANK YOU for such an amazing Pikachu! I still love it and it'll probably stay there until I can find a new place to live....then it'll come with me and all my other stuffs xD
    ---

That's understandable. Same goes for watching or reading anything you may like. it just gets you way more excited!

Well turn it into something like joke. If they ever say "draw something" literally draw out the word "Something" and give it to as it's exactly what they wanted =D!

I'm sure Detective Pikachu would be great! I'd love to see your interpretation of it. I'm sure in your art style it would be pretty interesting (honestly I just wanna know if my theory about it is true now xD). Again though you don't have to draw it for me, unless you just really want to =3

Yeah I don't know all of them by heart yet....just a select few. Like male and female Pikachu, then a Flareon, Snivy, Bulbasaur, Emolga, Jolteon, etc. Though like I said that was something random I threw out....I didn't expect you to actually think about it xD even if it does sound great. While I was thinking of a request I just kept getting images of like a photograph and a group shot/image. Kinda like a memories to look back on kinda thing. Even though I knew it was a crazy idea, I'm one for writing things out I think of either way =3

Aside from that...Yeah making sure you find a way to keep the motivation during a planned long term project is important. So sketching out all of your 'favorite' at one time would immediately take it all away. Maybe make a list of certain ones to draw in a batch (or throughout the week of like one typing).

We talking about Gemma art in a Gemma art thread? o:

Talking about displaying Gemma art? I can do that. Hold up.. Lemme go grab my gloating stick. Also the artwork.

*Rummages through things because I just moved and have it packed away somewhere.*

    -pause for effect..-

    AH HA! Here we go!

    Behold:

    Spoiler:

    Only difference is this is the actual painting. >.>;
Canvas, watercolors, bit of pen work. The works.

Uhh.. Also! The Emolga and Pikachu look really rad. You really don't miss a beat when it comes to drawing Pokemon. Now if your really want a challenge, Draw Mega Aggron face to face with Mega Steelix like they're about to throw down. (maybe throw in Max and Victoria like they're having a Pokemon battle. Because LiS and Pokemon would totally mix.) FACE OFF! DUEL!

Ah, flip. I totally forgot you had that. XD;; DON'T LOOK AT IT, IT'S OLD. *tries to cover spoiler tags with hands*

Thanks, dude, I think they turned out awesome. B3 Uuuuuuuh yeah. If you want that you're gonna have to commission me cause that's a detailed piece right there! *snaps fingers* Though that would be cool, like a crossover with LiS. Lawls.

    Thanks! C:

I am currently working out pricing, but it's so hard. Like, I don't want to undercharge but I don't want to overcharge either. I wanted to tear my hair out yesterday trying to think of prices. xD

For the general sketch I'm thinking something along the lines on $25 AUD? Which is approx. $18.50 USD. You're lucky since the Aussie dollar is currently under the US. xD Obviously the more/less detail it has, the price might differ a little. What do people think? /seriouslyineedhelp

And sketches are easy to price. It's the full-blown artwork I'm having trouble with. 3:

It must be so hard to price! I recon you just have to pick a price to start. If you don't get (m)any takers you can lower it and if you get lots you can think about increasing it. I assume that's how people come up with prices! $25 seems pretty reasonable! I guess you could also take into account how much time each one takes, and if you want to gather interest to begin with, you could offer some lower prices things to get started maybe. I have never bought art so I have no idea what things go for!
