So, fun fact about being a Caucasian female with two really dark parents in the south is that we don't tan naturally. We burn. Hard. The worst I've ever had was about two to three years ago, I was on vacation with a friend and I put on sunscreen but it washed off or didn't work or whatever. Long story short, my entire back that hadn't been covered by my bathing suit was bright bright red. Normally this isn't a big deal except I was sleeping on a couch and I can't sleep on my stomach on a couch because they're not wide enough, I have to sleep on my shoulder, so I barely slept that week because of the pain I felt every time I put one shoulder down. Clothes were also a pain to wear but I had to wear them because we had other people besides me and my friend's family there. That's probably the worst I've ever had but I get them all the time.
