What is the hardest thing about being an adult, in your opinion?

Less time to do what I actually want to do, dealing with people that try (usually purposely) to give you a hard time, living life on a schedule, money, more money, bills, money again, planning what you want to do, and most importantly, figuring out what you want to spend the rest of your life doing. Seriously, even if you know you like something it's not only hard work, but it's even harder to actually LAND that job unless you start up your own business with it. Then again even that would be tough just starting out as your own independent company or business.

Losing most of your free time is probably one of the worst things of growing up =(

I have not experienced neither of these YET but seeing how I start my new job soon....I will be very shortly ;c

Oh, you mean you don't want to be a hobo? Well, that's gonna cost ya. Want electricity? Guess what, spanky, those $50s look nice. Or how about some running water, even though it's the most plentiful resource on Earth? Oh, check or cash is fine, yes.

Then there's the fact some things are just obscenely overpriced for no good reason. Oh, want a hot dog and a soda at a baseball game? Congratulations on eating more than an hour's worth of wages away! Plus tax. Or you can do what I do and sneak food in. I'd rather be a ninja than a fool any day. Plus if seven bucks popped out of the stove every time I cooked a hot dog at home, I wouldn't even begin to think over my life choices!

Well, on the bright side, it beats having to study for exams, do homework, and try to juggle five or six classes whose teachers all believe their class is the only one you're taking. XP

That was one thing I could never do. I stayed at home and commuted to college during those years because there was no way I could tolerate the ruckus of dorm life and ever hope to pass classes. But if I absolutely had to live on campus, I'm dump my butt in the library for most of the day and wouldn't budge until it closed. I'd also use the gym showers instead of using the dorm ones (which were appalling the one time I got to see them during orientation).

I do not miss college. Some classes were great and very insightful, but all it took was one crappy one and your semester was spoiled.

I agree with the free time thing. There are so many things I wanna do but I never have time and even when I have a free day on the weekend, I just wanna chill out. xD I miss being able to spend heaps of time doing things for PXR. :(

I haven't had to deal with the money thing yet thankfully. I've been looking at buying an investment property with the money I've been saving from living at home but the prices just keep going up.....

I worked full time, came home and did an online course three days a week, and any time I had left went towards finishing assignments. ;n; Free time? What is this free time of which you speak?

At least now I just work full time. But when the weekends arrive. Oh god, I don't think I've ever looked so forward to weekends in my life.

EVERYTHING even the GOOD bits, i can in theory eat candy for dinner every day! but i'd only get fat and sick! i could vote but every political party are equally trash!
and every month is a struggle to magially pull the money i need to pay bills and rent out of my ***! and i hate it!
and there's seriously 3 things to do in this town in the weekends 1. football which i hate and wish they would get rid of so i wouldnt have to deal with *******S banging into my car when parking because i live 2 streets from the stadium. whew that was some supressed anger there. 2. bum around at home. what i uuusaually do but it's pretty boring after 3 weekends. and 3. get out and get your booze on, which is fun. just wish there was other as fun options for the sake of my liver. and that's about it. i hate adult life, i hate this tooown i hate eveeeeeryttiiiinng. exept you fine folks, you're awesome!
