I honestly don't like reading at all! It's just really boring to me. Like, if a movie stinks you only wasted two or so hours on it. But if a book stinks, you've wasted however many days, weeks, or months on it. Because I don't like reading, I only read when I have to for school (and recently I've just been using Sparknotes lol). I've recently discovered I don't like Shakespeare at all, and I also don't like Frankenstein (we just finished it in my AP Literature class).

I've never read "classics" like Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Divergent, etc just because those books are way too long and they all have movies LOL (I've never watched any movies from any of those series, though). I've had books I've kinda liked, but I don't even remember them because I don't really bother to keep up with books. The only series I've read completely is the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series because it has pictures on pretty much every page. :L

I used to read much more. I used to love reading, and I could read like, 100+ pages in a day when I really got into a book. Now, I try my best to start reading, but I just can't get into it anymore.

Currently I'm also reading Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die by Chip and Dan Heath. VERY interesting book that goes into why some ideas are much more memorable and engaging than others. I figured it would help a lot when it comes to marketing careers, my plans to publish novels, and heck, coming up with ideas for PXR also.

I like reading, but I have an issue where I'd rather be doing something else, so I don't get much done. Same as schoolwork, though I'm eventually forced to do that if I don't want to fail.
    not that serious

I don't usually read books but when I find a good book I love reading it! Harry Potter was one of those books, as well as Inkheart and the first two books of the Hunger Games.

And pretty much anything fantasy I'll read. C:
I love young adult books, dystopians and new series I haven't read, so I am jumping on this >:D Adult books don't interest me much either. There's too much graphic stuff or it just gets bogged down. I love the pace and subject matter in most young adult books. Except ones about vampires/werewolves/fairies/whatever. xD I avoid those!

I adore reading! It's one of my fave things to do and I really need to make more time for it these days.

DO IT. It's a totally awesome series, you won't regret it!

Yeah, adult books are generally DRAMA DRAMA ROMANCE DRAMA. xD And who can be bothered reading that? There is so much more imagination and creativity in the books written for young adults, I find anyway. I used to like books about vampires/angels and whatnot, but now I'm finding they're just so cliche. However there ARE a few gems hidden among them.

I really prefer books to people to be honest. In fact, one of my top dystopias is that classic episode of the Twilight Zone where the world end and Burgess Meredith is left alone with all of these books and nothing but time to read them all. Anyways, I love reading because, in the words of one Ray Bradbury character, "You can lose yourself in a world of adventure! Tom Sawyer, Robinson Caruso, Saga of the Thunder Lizards!" I've got four bookshelves overflowing with books and I'm hoping to find a house someday that will be filled wall-to-wall with books like a classic Scooby Doo episode of Lex Luthor's hideout in the 1977 Superman movie, complete with a ladder on wheels. I don't understand some of the negativity about adult books because there's just so much more THERE with adult authors. You think the Hunger Games is a frightening idea? Try it's spiritual grandfather, Stephen King's "The Long Walk". Really most of the King's books are among my favorites, from classic chillers like "IT" and "The Shining" to unexpected thrillers like "Firestarter" and "The Dead Zone, and even things like "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption" and "The Body" (Later adapted into the film "Stand By Me") that you wouldn't expect from the master of the craft. That's just one author, besides him, fiction boasts Shirley Jackson, Ira Levin, Timothy Zahn, Richard Adams, Michael Crichton, Ray Bradbury, and a host of others. Plus there's comic books and graphic novels. Wowza what a field of talent that genre is, with Brian Vaughn's "Y: The Last Man" and "Runaways", Alan Moore's "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?", and Jimmy Gownley's "Amelia Rules!" being among my personal favorite from off of that shelf.

And don't even get me started on nonfiction. I'm the kid who read his 10th grade history text book six and a half times. Just for kicks.
Dreams come a size too big. It's so that we can grow into them.

I don't read books in my free time, but I do read academic books that are on the reading list for my courses.

I know I'm not supposed to say this as a university student, but it's true, I tend to avoid reading if I don't need to :/
