    Aries. Rams rule!

    Some of it's right:

    Aries Strength Keywords

Independent - TRUE, and I wish I could be financially independent, but meh, haven't really gotten there yet. If the economy was a little better and I had the full-time job I need, I'd say I would have gotten the ball rolling by now.
Generous - TRUE, I feel bad if I come to a party without bringing drinks, snacks, or desserts. And I donate money and blood. :P
Optimistic - VERY TRUE! I've had a lot of meh things dumped on my lap like unemployment, death in the family, and so on, but try to appreciate what I do have and I feel things can get better in time.
Courageous - SOMETIMES. If I don't know how to do the task or I'm a little confused, I might be hesitant in fear of getting lost or doing something irreparably wrong, but if I know what I'm doing, I hop right in.

    Aries Weakness Keywords

Moody - FALSE, I don't consider myself moody any more than what average people go through. I don't mind rainy days, I don't easily get depressed, and if things don't go my way, it's not a biggie, better luck next time. I like coming in first, it's not a big deal if I don't, but coming in dead last over and over again does grind my gears a bit.
Short Tempered - VERY FALSE, a big no way on this one. I would say I'm very good at keeping anger under control and bottled up, and it would take a LOT for it to come out.
Self-Involved - TRUE, I'll admit I do more things by myself than with others. I like social activities like board games and hanging out with friends, but I do enjoy video games, writing, and stuff that you'd mainly do alone.
Impulsive - TRUE, I do things that might have sounded like goofy fun and a good idea at the time and then overlooked the logistics. Prime example is going to a Renaissance Faire in a big dragon costume. Oh, it was fun and I enjoyed celebrity-level photo shoots for the day, but I overlooked miles of walking, aggressive children trying to attack me and rip my tail off, and the inability to sit anywhere. Still fun though!
Impatient - TRUE, I speed a bit while driving and I really don't like being stuck behind slow trucks and school buses. Waiting for things to load and update isn't fun either. You should have seen me during the days of dial up internet!

    Aries and Independence:
Aries personalities are independent. Being the first of the zodiac signs, they venture out and are go-getters, often leading the way. Their upbeat and magnetic personality often entices others to follow their lead because Aries personalities bring excitement into others lives.
I like being the leader! The problem I have is people tend not to follow. I guess that's what results in me being "independent." XD

You guys at PXR have been a lot better at following my goofy and crazy ideas. People in real life... not so much.

    Aries and Friendship:
Aries are good friends, they always look out for their friends with caring and generosity and will protect them should the need arise and encourage them with their natural optimism. If confronted, Aries can turn to be quite childish, they will fight back with their agressive nature and are known to have temper tantrums should they not get their way.
First part is true. If someone needs me to pick them up, needs an errand done, or needs help with something, I'll usually try to do what I can (this actually got me screwed at work as I did more of what other people needed than my own responsibilities... >.<) I also try to be funny and light-hearted, and I tend to avoid places and people that aren't. As for being childish, oh, absolutely, but usually not in an aggressive way. I also understand I don't always get my way and usually I don't get prickly about it.

    Aries and Business:

Aries are activists. If a business idea comes their way, they tend to plunge right in. Aries are more then willing to take a gamble and follow their dreams and goals. However, if success is not immediate, they tend to lose interest and give up easily. Aries are notorious for not finishing what they have begun. This is due to the low tolerance for boredom and lack of patience. If the excitement is gone from their business idea, they go off and search for it elsewhere.
This... isn't necessarily true about me. I'm not a gambler and I haven't had the desire to start my own business. I am, however, taking a big and expensive gamble when it comes to getting a book published, and am perfectly ready to fight for success or learn from the failure and try again.

I do have a low tolerance for boredom, though. I daydream a lot and if a conversation steers into a direction that I don't have much interest in or know nothing about, my mind begins to drift away.

    Aries Temperament

Independence is key to Aries astrology, they do not like to take orders from others and enjoy getting their way. They can get childish or moody should they be given orders that they do not like. Aries easily take offense to comments made. Aries are self-involved and can be self-centered, if they do not pay attention to the feelings of others, Aries can easily become spoiled and resented by others. In order to get their way, Aries will tell a lie if it seems advantageous to do so. They are however, not very good liars and other people can usually see through them.
I like the independence part, but the rest isn't really true. I often take orders to be loyal and understand you win some, you lose some. If I don't like the orders, usually there's a good reason for it (they could be stupid, a waste of time, or unfair). I also NEVER lie, except when playing board or card games (in a poker face kind of way). Kind of like in Magic the Gathering, when someone casts a rather nasty card, I'll feign anxiety when I have a Counterspell ready to fire off.

    Aries Deep Inside

Underneath the strong, independent surface may lie insecurity. This is due to the intense drive to succeed and Aries put too much pressure on themselves, thus resulting in self-doubt however, the natural optimism and enthusiasm overtakes this and the underlying insecurity may never be known to others.
Yeah... kind of. I like to impress and inspire others, so when something goes wrong and it doesn't turn out right, I feel embarrassed. I need to learn how to laugh out my own mistakes. It's not an easy thing to do, but it's a great quality.

    Aries in a Nutshell:
Aries is the first of the zodiac signs. Aries is the sign of the self, people born under this sign strongly project their personalities onto others and can be very self-oriented. Aries tend to venture out into the world and leave impressions on others that they are exciting, vibrant and talkative. Aries tend to live adventurous lives and like to be the center of attention, but rightly so since they are natural, confident leaders. Aries are enthusiastic about their goals and enjoy the thrill of the hunt, "wanting is always better then getting" is a good way to sum it up. Aries are very impulsive and usually do not think before they act - or speak. Too often Aries will say whatever pops into their head and usually end up regretting it later!
Okay, now this is totally right on the money. A lot of the friends and people I know in real life are VERY reserved, mild-mannered, analytical, not at all wild and outgoing, and almost ALWAYS talk about what they did at work and office stories. Oh my goodness, it's boring. I'd way rather be doing something adventurous, wild, and funny + crazy. In fact, I LOVE Halloween parties for the fact that it pretty much forces people to dress up in something wild and fun, and I take full advantage of it, often dropping hundreds of bucks for the bigger and more awesome costumes that I wish I had more occasions to wear. The problem is when things like Renaissance Faires show up and you're the only one out of four of five people that wants to go in costume, the idea usually gets shot down and I end up just looking weird just for having even suggested it. But then it's not as fun if you just go by yourself and start questioning your life choices. :(

For another example, I went to go see Zootopia by myself. I heard great things about it, but it's one of those "animated kids movies" that no one else in my network of friends really wanted to check out. I figured what the hell, just go see it. So glad I did, it's a fun and awesome movie! I left the theater with a smile, even if I was alone. Childish and independent, true, but it made me happy.
