Yeeeeees, ohmygosh yes. Funny fact. Years ago, like back on PE2K when I had a crush on a guy WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS while I was at work ALL DAY I had this crazy butterfly feeling in my stomach. Literally the entire day. I've never had anything like that ever before, or since then, but it was the weirdest and best feeling ever. Made me so giddy. XD

I may have a crush now, but I'm currently in my "denial" phase. xD Like you, Speedy, I go through thinking about the person, to possible dreams, to complete denial, to acceptance, to mostly getting over it cause I can't do anything about it lol. I get crushes easily enough, but dating someone and trying to make that feeling stay is another matter entirely...
