    But...What Do You DO?

I've been thinking lately, about what it is that everyone actually does in their spare time around here. :p What I mean mostly is, do you study or do you work? Or are you just lazy and live off the dole? xD

As for me, I work part-time as a graphic designer for a small company. :D I've finished my studies for now, but maybe I'll go back and do something else someday. You know, rack up an even larger debt than I currently have. :p

    SO WHAT DO YOU DO?

I lurk around here obsessively and do art if I can focus long enough. And read comics. xD

Hmm... trying to get employed again for a real firm for a real job. But, if things don't work out (again), I might just do contract work again.

    Meh, this job market sucks.

I am doing my PhD in Genetics. At the tail end now. Yikes. Plus my scholarship finished so that's lame. xD

I also work part time as a learning adviser in the library where people can come get help with assignments and general uni stuff, and also one day a week tutoring a group of students through their work in the lab.

I'm sort of considering doing computer science. If I could get a scholarship to do it, I probably would. xD

Sell tyres! For cars. Well i actually dont sell the tyres i mount them onto the car. And because Norway people change wheels 2 times per year which means my job brcomes hell on earth 2 times a year :)
The pay is low the hours are long in the last 2 years i have sucsessfully devistated my back and knees.
But what can you do. With no education and the unemployment trugh the roof my chanses of a much better job are slim. Thus i like my workplace.

I was going to study this year... But then dropped out because I don't want more debt for something I won't use. Right now I might have a job going, but I'm not sure yet! It's just a casual thing, but it'll get me money, which is currently what I need. xD

I've got one more semester of school after this one, but I am already trying to get my ducks in a row for the future, and that means trying to get internships with different think tanks, politicians, or other organizations for the summer, and maybe even something with the U.S. State Department in the Fall. Then hopefully everything will come together.

    Grad students only study lol

Well, some are supposed to do research, but still, mostly study whenever there's no homework.

I got accepted into college back in November, and I plan to major in computer engineering. I am interested in the robotics fields, I think. Not set in stone, though.

I'm sort of like a Civil Engineer, but I work in a relatively straightforward part of the construction industry, so I more often than not just work as Surveyor.

I'm also massively under qualified for this job too. I do have a Master's Degree. It's just in Forensic Science. You may notice these things as being completely and entirely unrelated.

So, if we want to get even less specific; I'm hurtling through my life without knowing where the hell I'm going. And I love it.
