As someone who's done an extensively researched presentation on the subject, I swear under penalty of death that breakfast is scientifically the most important meal of the day. The data just backs it up. That is why it is one of the three pillars, along with perfect attendance and dental hygiene, that I will be using to raise my future children. I always make sure to eat breakfast, which usually amounts to nothing too special, some cereal, fruit, maybe a protein source or some toast/waffles for the grains. But when I am going out to eat breakfast, my eyes light up and my heart does back-flips of joy. Hash browns, bacon, big fluffy pancakes, etc. I would argue that breakfast has the most appealing food out of any meal, generally speaking, precisely because it is just so hard to convince many people to do the smart thing and eat up in the A.M.
