Bell System Property - Not For Sale (Household item rentals)

Do you have any items at home that are rented or leased from a company that provided said item(s)? Are they items that are being paid monthly or weekly, and are they paid until you own them (rent-to-own) or always belonging to the company renting them out?

These can include furniture, appliances, and equipment from internet providers, cable companies, or other utilities, among other things.

Recently, my mom decided to rent a trash can with wheels to put on front of our house in response to a neighbor constantly driving over the right-of-way in front of our house. It's a relatively small monthly fee, but she also picked up the idea of getting the trash can because the aforementioned neighbors have two of them that they always have in front of their house.

Our trash can belongs to the state (it's for an automated lifter), but other than that, everything we have in the house is pretty much stuff we own.

I'm not sure if renting stuff is as big a thing here as it might be elsewhere. I don't think we rent anything. We got given our modem with the internet plan, but they don't want it back if we quit or anything.
