I've been there--conquered my roller coaster fear there by taming Thunder Road (just going forwards, but that was still a big accomplishment for me)

When Busch Gardens had The Big Bad Wolf, Alpengeist, Loch Ness Monster, and Apollo's Chariot, I went on all of them, some of them twice. They were all fun, but I wouldn't ride on Alpengeist more than once, or else your stomach is going to get wrecked. The others are great, but they replaced The Big Bad Wolf with Verbolten (which I haven't gone on yet). Meanwhile, you can see I95 from the top of Apollo's Chariot! Good times! XD

Turning upside down, moving fast, or the fear of something going wrong don't usually dissuade me from them, it's usually the long lines that do.
I went to Busch Gardens when I was 8. I really want to go there again to try the coasters. :D

I'd say do Apollo's Chariot and Loch Ness first. If you're thirsty for more, have time, and didn't just eat lunch, then do Alpengeist. They're great and quite a bit of fun. Not to mention the reactions of people riding with you are priceless.

I'm pretty much spoiled when it comes to amusement parks, rollercoasters, and just rides in general. xD I've ALWAYS lived no more than 30 minutes away from Six Flags and I've been going there my entire life.

Let's just say, I LOVE ROLLERCOASTERS. Anything that gives me that buzz, honestly, is good for me. <3

But there's one kind of ride that I just tried last year: Sky Coasters. And I will NEVER regret that decision. Last year on the Dragon's Wing, they had a season-long deal going on that said you could ride for just $15. I know, I know: paying money to ride a ride? ARE YOU CRAZY?

Well, no, not really. First of all, the price WAS around $30 per person. D: Secondly, I'm pretty sure ALL Skycoasters have admission fees. Now, some of you guys might be wondering: what's a Skycoaster? THIS is a Skycoaster:

Granted ours is about half of the height of this one, it's still really, really high-up.

I was kinda afraid of heights before I rode this. But now? Nah, not really. Riding it gave me this empowering feeling, like "If I can do this, I can literally take on anything."

    Roller Coasters!
I love them, if I could go to a theme park every day I would. After a while of not going to them I long to go back, haha.

As I live in the UK and have never been abroad, I have only been to two theme parks that are the closest (The nearest being like a 2 hour drive) and those are Alton Towers and Drayton Manor.
Alton Towers is packed with roller coasters being the bigger park whilst Drayton Manor is filled with more thrill ride types.
My first ever ride was Pandemonium at Drayton Manor. I went when I was in year 7 and went with my Girlfriend at the time and her friend as a school reward trip and she said she had been on it before and loved it. It is a ride with two huge arms that have maybe 40 seats on either. When it starts, the arms rotate throwing you forward and backwards in huge circles. The worst part of it is the fact that there is a chance you could get stuck upside down at the top for a while. I think I got stuck upside down like that for maybe over a minute before. I know a minute isn't long, but it does get pretty uncomfortable quite quickly. My first actual coaster was Shockwave at Drayton Manor. It's a stand up roller-coaster with 4 loops (I think) I was petrified at first but after I went on it, I loved it and have loved roller coasters ever since.

My favourite roller coaster has to either be Nemesis or Air from Alton Towers. I also liked Oblivion, but it's quite short so I prefer the others. They are two of Big Six at Alton Towers and they are great. You have to really see them to know how good they are Nemesis is just a classic coaster with loops and corkscrews and stuff and Air is a little different. You are angled in your seat to face the floor as you go round as if you are flying. Air has now got a rebrand and is now called Galactica as you have virtual reality headsets on while riding so it feels as if you are flying through space. Apparently you can ride with and without virtual reality so you can still get the original feel of it being a roller coaster. I haven't tried it since it has added the virtual reality feature but I plan to go back this year and try that out.

I have been on every ride in Drayton Manor and they are great. I have also been on all the bigger rides at Alton Towers, apart from the Smiler due to it's... accident, and I never intend to go on it. I love roller coasters as you get such a thrill and even though they can be potentially dangerous, I feel accidents are fairly rare so I don't dwell on that, unless there was a really bad accident that happened on one ride and don't want to ever risk that.
I intend to visit Thorpe Park next. I want to try the Saw ride as it looks amazing. I also would like to go to Universal and Six Flags if I ever visit America in the future.

Oh, I'm sure they're perfectly safe. But I'm just a paranoid person. And it's only worse when those smaller rides aren't totally secure. There's a fun water ride at Busch Gardens where the bar just lightly goes in front of you and my sister kept insisting, "No, it's fine!" but I think I almost fell when it did an angled dive. xD

Not easy having fun when you're me!

    And...yeah.

I have mixed feelings. xD I kind of like them but I'm also a bit scared of them. And I definitely won't go on anything that goes upside down. When I was in the Netherlands a couple years ago we went to a theme park there which was awesome! And my dad and I were going on some of the rides. Everything was in Dutch so we weren't really reading any signs or anything. We stopped for lunch and there was this giant bird statue out the front of a ride. It looked interesting and there was no line, so we headed over. I wanted to check the map we got to see what the ride was but my dad just wanted to go while there was no one in front of us, so we did.

It was horrible!!! It was basically an indoor rollercoaster that was pitch black except for some weird flashing lights and birds flying at your head. @_@ I just kept my eyes shut and held on haha. That was the last ride my dad went on that day. XD

@Suicune's Fire Oh! I went on the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster like 15 years ago maybe! xD The indoor dark spinning was too much for me. @_@ I spent the rest of the day on the kids rollercoasters haha.

Oh wow! O: I went on it...in 2009. So not quite 15 years ago. xD Haha that's great. I really enjoyed the backwards-going. c:

This was me until I went to Dreamworld (an epicly awesome amusement park a couple of states above where I am) and I decided to get over it because I reeeeeeally loved roller coasters, I was just too terrified to go on them. I thought to myself "eh, you only live once!". Life's too short to be scared of what could happen. Gotta deal with it as it comes! Hopefully not though.

And yeah, the Scooby-Doo coaster was my favourite! :D I laughed so much when we went down that little ditch and my mum screamed hahahaha.
