How do Foreigners View the Oncoming Apocalypse of the USA National Election?

So, I'm upfront and personal with all of this given my interest in the political field and what not, but I'm legitimately curious. How do foreigners view American politics? The election? The end times? What do your news sources tell you and what's your opinion?

as far as i know, if, Trump wins i would perfer moving to the moon, but he'd probably make me build a wall and pay for it. with a small loan of a million dollars.

To be honest, Trump strikes me as being all bark and no bite. I think that if he got elected, he'd actually be a lot more relaxed that he's coming across. If you look back before the presidential race, his comments seemed to show a much more liberal man. It would be a disaster economically though, his business record isn't exactly the best. I would rather he didn't get in though, Hilary is definitely the lesser of two evils and it would be cool if there was finally a woman president!

The Democrats have always always seemed like the more sane party to me because they don't bang on about "Christian values" like the Republican party. I've never understood that hyper-religious aspect of American politics; you guys have separation of church and state, yet your politics seems to be a lot more religiously influenced than ours. I think it's a reflection of the social environment, as Britain is generally quite apathetic when it comes to religion.

It's a shame to see Obama go, I thought he did quite a good job as president. He had great personality that seemed genuine and his policies were pretty good.

So, with Hillary and Trump as the front runners right now, I'd personally prefer to see the white house burn to the ground before either of them get in. Obviously if I had to choose, anything is better than Trump, but there really are no even half decent options. Basically, we have to choose between a criminal and a psychopath, and no matter what we get, we're ****ed. It's just a matter of how ****ed.

I think we're all just laughing and wondering how on earth this managed to happened and being thankful that voting is mandatory here so the smaller percentage of really passionate crazies never get to outvote the large percentage of average people who don't really care. XD
