How good is your spelling, lol.
How good is your spelling, lol.
I can't spell worth a damn and you can blame the teachers when I was young. When I was in first grade they sent home a letter to parents saying that your child is learning to spell and will spell words how they think they sound and that you shouldn't correct them for it. So my Mom never corrected me when things were misspelled. Well come 4th grade I couldn't spell and my teacher took points off for misspelled words. You know what that's not my fault.

I'm generally a pretty good speller, but occasionally I goof up a word or two. I also sometimes forget how to spell something and change the whole sentence structure around just to avoid using that word. And then there are other times where I think I spelt the word wrong when it was actually right and didn't get the squiggly red line from the spell checker, but just to be sure, I smash in a lot of nonsense just to make sure it's working. :P
I'm not very good at spelling lol. There are some words that I just can never spell right no matter how many times I try. My grammar is pretty good though. It used to be really bad, but in the past four years, somehow my best subjects have reversed. I used to be strongest in math and weakest in English, now I'm strongest in English and weakest in math.
Imma suberb spellar. Cannt b beting muy spooling.
...
Seriously though, my spelling is fine. If I make a mistake, it's usually deliberate. Plus, spell-check is a huge help!

Well I'm probably the lowest posting active member. All a part of my brilliant strategy to make the few things i post seem good!
I'd say I'm pretty good. The only words I have trouble with are the same ones most people do.
not that serious
I'm a grammar nazi and I write a lot. xD So I was always good with my English and spelling. I mean English is a HARD language where nothing ever sounds like how it's actually spelled, so occasionally I'll come across a word that stumps me.
But at least I know they difference (and can spell) between the words "then" and "than"; "there" "their" and "they're". Also the word "definitely" has no As in it. I used to cringe every time an old friend spelled the word wrong. xD;;
I'd make the worst English teacher because everyone would hate me for always correcting them, aha.
