    I could probably teach you guys a thing or two, though! c:
    I'd love the learn more on how to draw better xD! Only problem is I feel they'd be way more effective in person. I mean tutorials online are good and all, but nothing beats actual help from someone that can teach you first hand personally in person. =)

    I'm sure you'd be just fine teaching Gem. It takes a lot to deal with teaching kids. It's why the teachers that teach the younger students deserve a lot of respect dealing with all that and teaching them what they need to know all while helping them become the best they can be. Like a secondary parent helping them mature.

    That's what I said to Xanthe. It's actually pretty hard to teach people something like drawing when you're not there in person. I mean Skype might be okay. I COULD START SKYPE TUTORIALS, OMG. IDEA FOR ARTISTS SECTION. People could post what they want help with and I could help over Skype/livestream and record the session for those who can't make it. YUSH. Actually, a livestream is probably better. You're awesome, Eric. Thanks for the idea. xD

    *would be continually headdesking all day if teaching kids* I could do tertiary levels, but kids would murder me lol.

    @Lunar Latias

    Haha, thanks Gemma! Well yeah! Talking or discussing things can lead to random ideas. Glad to be able to help! I'd totally love to watch them as well (time zoning dependent)! Or if we ever meet someday you could give me a tutorial maybe? =O Til then livestreams are all I can depend on...I'll still show you a something Pikachu I draw soonish. it won't be anything special whatsoever though xD

    Yes I'm just thinking about timezones... xD If I started streaming it would have to be on Saturday/Sunday around my lunch time (or before) to accommodate all the people in the states. I could try for when I get home, but everyone in the states *should* be asleep then and would miss it.

    OR I can do two separate streams - one for everyone in my timezone (or close enough) and others in the states on the weekend. Who knows!

    When it comes to art, my prime nemesis is SHADING. I get the whole directional light source thing, and it feels like I'm doing the right thing, but it's not until the end that I look at it again and it just feels wrong and the highlights and shadows just don't make any sense. I don't know, maybe I should crank out a random drawing putting my best effort forward and someone could let me know what I goofed up on.

    Anyway, I think even just a video of you doing a drawing would already be a massively helpful insight as to how you complete a drawing from start to finish. Talking through it and explaining what you're doing and why would also be great as well.

    Main thing I wanna know is....."how to keep every line so straight" @_@ I'm so bad at having lines all wibble wobbly. A Pikachu head or ear never looks right xD.....then, THEN will I worry about bettering a drawing and shading or styling/angles

    The pen tool in Paint Tool SAI lets you cheat with that. It lets you adjust line segment points and remove the ones you don't need so all the wobbles are gone. That helps so much with line art.

    Hmm well shading can be tricky for a lot of people - even I screw up here and there! But generally once you've figured out a light source, as long as you stick to it your work will turn out okay. If you're stuck for what looks right, I suggest grabbing a similarly shaped object and throw a light against it in the direction you want. That'll help! c:

    Yays! Maybe I'll start off with a "How to Draw Pikachu!" segment. xD

    Straight lines are all in the motion you use. This, of course, is a lot harder by hand. Pro tip: the quicker you draw the line, the straighter it'll be. I mean you can't ride a bike when you're going at a snail's pace, can you? You'll fall off! O: Also depending on the length of the line, draw using your WHOLE arm, not just your wrist. Flicking your wrist is good for small strokes, but you'll have a lot more control if you use your entire arm. :3

    Maybe it's a combination of me trying to draw too slow and too small. I'd LOVE to see a "How to Draw Pikachu" segment! =D You're just too awesome Gemma! Thing is, when I try to draw faster I end up making more mistakes. That or it doesn't end up where I need to line to go. Maybe it's just I gotta see first-hand what you mean by it through the livestream.
