Thanks! I had incredible fun making this. I just realized I forgot to give the Emolga a shadow, but eh, not a biggie.

And yeah, I really like this little guy. :)

While I'm not mad or anything, do the entries for GCEA need colour to be a finished piece? Cause I could do the same thing with a black sketchbook using white charcoal, and it would still miss out on the few points relating to colour? o:

Okay I have been literally dying to respond to this.

The GCEA Sketch Pad was meant to be a simply sketch that meets certain requirements. These requirements were meant to give any level artist a chance to submit something. We didnt want to discourage people. After the first year or so Xanthe and I went through and updated it further so that we could give the largest portion of the bonus to actual work submitted. Now for the most part the other GCEA artist can trace there drawings back almost two years so its easy to tell how much work someone put in based on the varying levels of the drawings.

Now the system is not perfect because sometimes in the past I felt as if they scale didnt truly reward the time put in and I reacted poorly and I still feel bad for how I acted around @Dragon Master Mike. I normally put in a couple of days of work into my good drawings. I know which ones are going to better than others.

To anwser your question if you use charcoal that would be good enough to me to meet that requriement because it is adding that extra level.

I would like to propose that the wording of the rubric be changed to include images that have been fully developed in black and white, not just in color. It was obvious that Gemma put effort into the image, it looked amazing. But the rubric specifically calls for color, so I didn't think that I could give her the full points.

Also, why do you feel bad about how you acted around me? When are you talking about?

@Rival Max but the charcoal thing...I'd be drawing the exact same way as I would with graphite, it'd just be a different medium. xD I DON'T GET IT, BUT OKAY. I agree with DMM, but it's not my call.

Also I love Neo and Sarah's entries! They both look so cool! I have to figure something out soon. xD

When in doubt... Eevee. So cool, so cute, and so versatile. I have never seen anyone regret getting one.
