Welp, I guess I can't complain (as much) about the Canadian prices. The Switch is gonna be about 450$ with tax, and 3DS games are going at ~45-50$ without taxes. It used to be 35$ a few years ago, but the CAD fell and they decided we weren't profitable enough at that price anymore. Thus, the wallet walloping began...

Either way, for a good game, I will allow them to assault my savings. But, getting me to part with over 400$ for a console, plus tax, plus game prices, plus more taxes on those is another story...

Unless they reveal Stars. That may just melt my Scroogey heart.

I was about lazy as you. It took me forever to get up and say, "I'm just gonna finish the game now" xD. Even that took a few days to finish. So yeah I'm curious to see if what Stars is about. I kinda want to see Detective Pikachu make it to the eShop here and a future Switch title maybe xD.

The rumor is, Stars is a late Fall release anyway. So you have a lot of time even after the initial Switch launch.

I do hope they officially address Stars soonish, it's hard just going by rumours alone! It would really suck if it was just a really overblown rumour and all the hype was for naught. That being said, a main Pokemon game on the Switch would probably help boost sales, which would be a clever move on Nintendo's part.

I'm also hoping the Switch gets RPG spin-off Pokemon games, like Colo and XD.
