Animals do that quite commonly. It's due to the fact that in the wild if an animal was showing the signs of dying, it was an automatic death sentence. The instinct still remains to this day.

As for me and Valentine's Day candy... I still have stuff from the pile of discount candy I got from a post-Halloween sale. XD I still have candy corn if someone wants some!

I actually tried to get discount Christmas stuff, but there wasn't really anything good that was left. I did get late to the scene, hoping for a 90% off discount like what I got for the Halloween stuff, but everything good was plucked before I came across anything like that.

I tried both a local CVS and Target. I guess they were able to clear everything out pretty quickly.

OMG, the circus peanuts and the Smarties is so true. I cracked up at at the comment of Smarties being like the combination of aspirin and Tums. So true. XD

And people really still give out pennies? Wow. I didn't know that and that's pretty pathetic. :P
