As for not seeing the Matrix movies, it's fine, no one really talks much about them anymore and they pretty much disappeared in 2006ish. The first one is definitely worth it and is meant to blow your mind. It did a lot of crazy new cinematic things and special effects and it was infectious. You could easily watch that and forget about the other two. But I would say watch the other two if you REALLY want closure on the storyline. Reloaded is decent and has plenty of crazy cool moments, but it'll leave you hanging if you don't watch Revolutions afterword. And then you'll watch Revolutions and you'll feel that "eh, this ending isn't that great." You'll get that feeling like you could have written a better ending yourself. And afterword, you won't really be craving for more.
That much is true! I mean I DID just help to turn Noble back into a Chu as well. And soon enough we will be seeing a surplus in Chu as well ;). Kinda odd now that I think of it. We only have what...3 normal Chu here? Me, Gemma, and Emerald. Odd enough cause usually you see more male Chu xD. I'm a loner haha.

Yeah I've seen pieces, but I've never seen it from start to finish. Maybe one of these days I can find it and give it a watch. I did enjoy it from what little I saw. Even the end xD. I never saw the very beginning though. I did really like it. I think once my parents actually had the entire trilogy. Not sure exactly where that might have went xD
