So apparently Nintendo's focus at E3 is not going to be Pokémon. Instead, it's going to be an unexpected game. Super. Smash. Bros. Switch.

For a game that they long said was just going to be a port. Which we know truly isn't. Well....this is absolute proof that it's not and instead a totally new game.

I wonder why they won't focus Pokémon. Is there not enough to make it the focus?

They might just not have enough material to show yet. And it could be that they don't want to commit to anything at the moment just in case they want to change things around for later.

But YESH, I want Smash Bros for Switch. So far I've been lovin' the Switch. Sure, the number of games is limited, but they're really good ones. I'd rather have few really good games than a whole overload of junky ones.

True, but it's about time they reveal some things about it you know? Without leaving us totally in the dark on it all. Even if it's just enough to hit that sweet spot to pull us in and get us excited for what's to come.

I'm a patient guy, I'd rather them take their time, make it good, and do things right rather than rush, commit to something they were on the fence about, and possibly mess things up. And that's happened a few times and the backlash from it was rough to see.

If one more legendary game comes out for the Switch I'm getting one.

The Switch is totally worth it. Breath of the Wild is fantastic and I swear, you could spend a whole lifetime exploring every nook and cranny of that game. The world is HUGE in that game and there's a seemingly endless amount of hidden stuff in it. You can do so much more as Link in this game from climbing walls, using this hang-glider thing, and loads of other fun stuff. That game alone make it worth it all.

I do miss playing BotW after beating it. Unlocking all those memories were fun and SO totally worth it in the end too. Just seeing what all happens and leads up to the game itself. Oh man that final one. It's so amazing when a game gets deep and dark.

You know, if the new Pokemon game for the switch fulfills a rumor I heard of a complete overhaul of the battle system, meaning a departure from turn based, I am probably just gonna drop Pokemon again. It's not even because I have a single thing against action RPGs, or the ATB system and things of a similar nature, because I have enjoyed various styles of games. It's just not right for Pokemon. It will always be changing in various ways but changing the core of battle mechanics to such a degree is too much for me and the line. Reserve such ideas for new PMD stuff or a new mode in Pokken

I dropped Final Fantasy games ever since they switched to ATB. I like having control over the entire party of characters, but you can only do that in a turn based environment.

If Pokémon switched to that, well, I'd at least try it, but I would be feeling very skeptical.
