Urf, I really have a love/hate feeling about Overwatch sometimes. On the one hand, I love the characters, the humor, action, and the intensity, but on the other hand, bloody hell, some people are ridiculously good at this game that it makes it clear this game just has an absolutely insane learning curve. It's one thing to know "hey, this character's ability does this" and then another to "hey, this character's ability does this and it travels at this rate of fire and it's best to use it at spots A, B, and C on this map and this map and better to use it against X, Y, and Z but only if 1, 2, or 3 is going on and" yeah, you get the idea.

I'll admit at first, it honestly didn't seem like one of those games that would take a ridiculous amount of time and study to master, but... yeah, it's one of those games. :P

Yeah it's to the point you can clearly jump to the conclusion they're using aimbot it's so insane. Especially with that gap in skill level. There's a huge difference sometimes and it's hard to plan things to go your way for the game. It takes a lot of skill.

Despite what some people say and think, even Junkrat takes some knowledge. Flinging grenades all willy-nilly can sometimes get a few kills, but there's a point where when things get harder, especially in close combat situations. Also, Pharah usually kicks his butt quite often. And on the flip side, dealing with Pharah is hard because the heroes that are best at bringing her down (Soldier 76, McCree, Widowmaker) still need to keep a watch out for the rockets because they do so much damage if they land. None of the tanks are all that great at dealing with her. You'd either have to be really lucky with the Roadhog hook or hope the spray and pray from D.Va or Orisa do enough to stop her.

Yeah, there was a guy playing Hanzo where I got one-shot killed by him three times in a row. And I've seen people's aim fling in very suspicious ways to nail a perfect headshot and I'm like... no human would know how to do that over and over again. Once or twice with some luck, sure, but unless you're a machine, I don't see how that could happen so many times.

Usually when I play him in Mystery Heroes, I kind of just fling arrows into the crowd of enemies and hope one of them lands. But when it comes to snipers, I'd rather just go Widowmaker, who I tend to do better with. She's better at detecting enemies and making a quick getaway if things turn into a close combat situation. You really learn to hate barriers with her though. XD

I have trouble doing well with Junkrat, honestly. I never understood why people say he's "easy".

He's not that great for close combat, but he really excels when there's a tank teammate around. If enemies close in on you, you practically have to keep flinging grenades and explosive charges around you, which sometimes works. Sometimes. Pharah nails him, but Tracer, Genji, and Doomfist can also REALLY crap his day up. You also don't really want to be off and alone with him either. Some heroes can do okay on their own like Tracer, Pharah, and Widowmaker, but he's definitely not one of them.

Gotcha. Will have to apply this knowledge next time I get him in mystery heroes.
