Be prepare to see fusion happen in the Pokemon TCG!
The next set for the Pokemon TCG has been announced with a November release date! This new set will be called Fusion Strike and will feature Mew along with a brand new Battle Style!
Fusion Style will be added along side with Single Strike and Rapid Style as a brand new Battle Style. This new Battle Style will focus on teamwork based on the Pokemon that is on your bench. This is reinforced even more with the Pokemon leading the charge, Mew!
Mew will be featured as two cards: Mew V and Mew VMAX. The types of Fusion Style Pokemon on your bench will matter for Mew VMAX. That is because Mew VMAX can use any of their attacks for simply two Colorless Energy.
There will be over 260 cards in the upcoming Fusion Styles set. This set will mostly be made up of Japan’s Fusion Arts set and cards that were cut from Evolving Skies.

- 20 Pokémon V and 13 full-art Pokémon V
- Eight Pokémon VMAX
- 20 Trainer cards and seven full-art Supporter cards
- One Special Energy card
Fusion Strike will release around the world on November 12th, 2021. You will be able to get a sneak peek of Fusion Strike via Build and Battle Kits starting on October 30th.
