Get ready to have a bang with the next TCG set for Japan!
The Fall TCG set for Japan has been revealed to be called Explosive Impact. This set will feature Pokemon from the Johto region with the headliner Pokemon being Lugia. We will also see the debut of Blacephalon in the TCG as the last Ultra Beast in the TCG.
Explosive Impact will feature over ninety-five cards. Lugia GX and Blacephalon GX will be the two featured cards from this set. Nothing else is known about the set.
We will have a heavy TCG release schedule to round out the rest of the year in the US. Celestial Storm will be release in August. There will also be Dragon Majesty that will be release in September as a mini-set. Lastly, we will have Explosive Impact to be release in November as the final US set for 2018. This should close out the Year of Legendary. When these three set are released then that would mean TCG players have been to Hoenn (Celestial Storm), Unova (Dragon Majesty) and Johto (Explosive Impact). The last region to be feature will be Kanto but currently there has been no announcement on how or if Kanto will be represented in the TCG.
Explosive Impact will be released in Japan on September 7th. There has been no word on when this set will be release in the US but it is predicted to be brought over in November.
