Thoughts on Koraidon & Miraidon

Below are some interesting tidbits concerning Koraidon and Miraidon.

Their Design
Koraidon and Miraidon
Based on their design, Koraidon and Miraidon both look sort of like motorcycles. If anything, you can at least ride on them.

If you look at Koraidon’s design, there seems to be a wheel coming out of it’s chest. Meanwhile, the two things coming out of Koraidon’s shoulders seem to be handlebars. Lastly, depending on how the feathers come out of Koraidon, that could be a back of a seat.

Now, if we look at Miraidon. This Pokemon has jets for legs along with the similar handlebar design coming out of it’s shoulder.

Could we be able to ride these Pokemon? This would not be the first time we could ride a Legendary Pokemon. After all, we rode Solgaleo and Lunala back in UltraSun & UltraMoon.

Themes of Time

Koraidon and Miraidon both seem to be giving off strong themes of the past and future. If we look at Koraidon, it feels as if it came from the past. Lots of rough edges and protrusions. It is also worth noting that Korai means ancient in Japanese.

Meanwhile, Miraidon gives off the vibe of being from the future. Futuristic? Not only does it move around by using it’s jet legs, it has metallic claws and product electricity. If we look at Mirai in Japanese, it means future.

Could we see some sort of time traveling element in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Only time will tell!

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be release on the Nintendo Switch on November 18th, 2022.
