Fans of Super Smash Bros will have a new place to fight as they take to the streets of Lumiose City to brawl!
Confirmed by Masahiro Sakurai on the Super Smash Bros Miiverse, Lumiose City will be a stage in the upcoming Super Smash Bros for the 3DS. There was no word if it will be included in the Wii U version. It will be quite fitting seeing that Pokemon is famous for being a handheld only game.
Sakurai also left a comment that could give a hint for what players can expect from Lumiose City.
Pic of the day. The Prism Tower rises above Lumiose City. Up until a few seconds ago, the fighters were brawling on top of that tower. No, really.
This could mean that Lumiose City will be a moving stage similar to Delfino Plaza. In the picture above, Prism Tower and the four other plazas are lit up. Maybe brawls will start at the top of Prism Tower and then move to four ground plazas to provide interesting and unique fighting environments.
