New details concerning Mega Sableye has been revealed. Originally revealed during E3, the Darkness Pokemon has been given a Mega Evolution in the upcoming Pokemon OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire. It has been a week later and now we know what will be Mega Sableye’s ability and stat boosts upon Mega Evolving.
Mega Sableye loses his popular Prankster ability but gains Magic Bounce. This ability will allow Sableye to bounce back any non-damaging attacks such as Toxic and Stealth Rock. This could throw your opponent into some mind tricks when facing Sableye in battle.
Upon Mega Evolving, Mega Sableye keeps his Dark/Ghost typing and gains boosts in his Defense and Special Attack but loses some speed. This could be due to the massive jewel he has to carrying which makes Mega Sableye weight 354.9 lbs.
