Junichi Masuda has revealed Mega Slowbro at the Pokemon World Championships! Mega Slowbro is a Water- and Psychic-type Pokemon that evolves from Slowpoke. When Slowbro Mega Evolves, all the energy from the Mega Evolution goes into the Shellder that has clamped on to Slowbro’s tail, making the Shellder’s shell impossible to penetrate.
Upon Mega Evolving, Slowbro gains boosts to Defense and Special Attack, and has the ability Shell Armor, which protects Mega Slowbro from critical hits. Mega Slowbro will be a great defensive member of any team in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Watch the reveal trailer below!
