Viz Media has rolled out their announcements of new manga coming in the future! Among those announcements was two involving Pokemon! With Pokemon Adventures and guide book!
Pokemon Adventures: OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire
Pokemon Adventures: OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire will receive full volume releases in Spring 2024!
This part of the Pokemon Adventures manga was originally released in the United States as mini-volumes with 3-4 chapters back in 2016. This release will feature those original chapters as full volume books with 7-8 chapters.
The Pokemon Adventures: OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire features Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald stopping a crisis that is coming to the Hoenn Region. A meteor! They will face many foes and encounter Zinnia in the process in saving their home.
The story is based on the Pokemon OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire video games. Story is by Hidenori Kusaka and art by Satoshi Yamamoto. Pokemon Adventures: OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire was originally released in Japan back in 2014 via online publication.
Special Note: Pokemon Adventures: XY have been release with a full volume release in the United States starting in 2022. The final volume for the XY chapters will be release in the Fall of 2023. Special thanks for TeamSableye on Twitter for the information.
The Complete Pokémon Pocket Guide
Viz also announced that they will release a newly revised guide called Pokemon: The Complete Pokemon Pocket Guide.
This will be a fully illustrated and comprehensive guide. It will be a two volume series with color pictures, descriptions, and status on abilities.
Please note that this guide will only cover 898 Pokemon.
You can expect this guide to be release in Spring 2024.
