Ability: Hypper Cutter/Iron Fist
Height: 2’00”
Weight: 15.4 lbs.

Crabrawler hate to lose and are always striving to climb not only in social standing but literally up the walls of buildings. Crabrawlers’ pincers are sometimes torn off in their bouts with other Pokémon and they’re said to be delicious. Their punches are strong enough to split tree trunks!

Pokemon.com mentions how much Crabrawler love berries.

Crabrawler’s favorite food is Berries. It punches the trunks of trees to give the branches a good shake and knock any ripe Berries to the ground so it can feast! Many Crabrawler may gather around a tree, but only the one that emerges victorious in battle against all the others receives the privilege of eating the ripe Berries.

Sandygast
Category: Sand Heap Pokémon
Type: Ghost/Ground
Ability: Water Compaction
Height: 1’08”
Weight: 154.3 lbs.

Sandygast have a brand new Ability called Water Compaction. It raises their Defense by two stages when they’re hit by Water-type moves.

Sandygast are basically possessed lumps of sand. They are created when the grudges of Pokémon are soaked into the sand after they fall in battle. It’s a test of courage in Alola to put one’s hand inside a Sandygast’s mouth, which can drain the vitality from people and Pokémon.

Pokemon.com describes how Sandygast control children.

If you heedlessly grab a Sandygast’s shovel, you’ll fall under the Pokémon’s control. A Sandygast uses its power to manipulate children into gathering sand to increase the size of its body. If a Sandygast loses its shovel, it may put up a tree branch, a flag, or another item in its place. These Sandygast are wanderers in search of their own shovels.

Palossand
Category: Sand Castle Pokémon
Type: Ghost/Ground
Ability: Water Compaction
Height: 4’03”
Weight: 551.2 lbs.

Palossand evolve from Sandygast. They can control human adults, forcing them to build sand castles to serve as camouflage. Unlike Sandygast, Palossand can regenerate sand that is lost from their bodies. The shovels on their heads revolve when they search for prey, probably acting as radar.

Pokemon.com describes how Palossand feed on other Pokémon.

Palossand loves the vitality of Pokémon and drags small Pokémon into its body so it can steal their life force. Its sandy vortex swallows them up in a heartbeat! Pokémon dragged into Palossand leave traces of their ill will behind. It’s thought that this negative energy may be the starting point of new Sandygast…

Stufful evolve into Bewear. Their cute appearance and fluffy fur make them super popular. Despite this, they hate being hugged tightly and will flail their arms in protest.

Pokemon.com describes Stuffuls’ incredible strength.

This Pokémon may have a small body, but its strength is extraordinary. Receiving one of its powerful hits without being prepared for it can bring down even well-trained Pokémon!
