In what can be described as very creative and ‘better than sliced bread,’ The Pokemon Company revealed a new Pokemon today: Doublade. It evolves from Honedge and is a steel/ghost Pokemon which is made up of two blades, one more blade than it’s unevolved form. No mention yet on how Honedge evolves into Doublade, perhaps there will be a chamber where two Honedges can be placed so that they can learn to “telepathically coordinate its two blades to deliver twice the slice in battle.” And contrary to the suggestions to the The Pokemon Company Facebook page, we do not suggest catching this “sharp-looking Pokemon.” Please, just use a Pokeball.
