It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. It was the times where we had two new podcasts to add to the column.
The first podcast we are adding to the column has been around for four years! It is the Pokemon Underground Champion League Podcast! They certainly have quite a fanbase and their own set of events to make things always fun. They love abbreviations as you can tell by these Puckles. Each episode is a testament to their community while providing interesting information about the Pokemon world and games.
The second new podcast to be added to our spotlight really brings a new meaning to a radio in your Pokedex. The Pokedex Radio brings information to trainers so they can be the very best like no one ever was. After all, if you didn’t have your Pokedex then how do you expect to be a great trainer?

P.U.C.L. Podcast: Berries- Lead by the Blackthorn Council, a podcast that thrives to provide passing trainers with information that could help them on their journey. Pokedex Radio: Pokémon: The First Movie sales and Super Smash Bros. Demo at SDCC– Behind every great Pokemon trainer, there is the Pokedex to give useful information to that trainer. A trainer can’t be great without his handy Pokedex to give him information for the winning play. The Pokedex Radio podcast wants to be just as informative as the Pokedex!
Austin and the crew get together to talk abut the latest Pokemon news! This includes news about Pokemon the First Movie and what Nintendo has cooked up for Smash Bros fans at San Diego Comic Con. Then gather around to hear about the tale of the man who spent five years searching for a shiny Mewtwo! So make sure you pull out your Pokedex to hear this podcast!
Pikapi Podcast: Movie Episode 3: Crouching Entei, Hidden Charizard!– It is movie time and Mako is ready to talk about the best Pokemon movie that has ever been made! It has everything that make a great movie! Moms, board games, cute little girls, crazy reality bending Pokemon, dogs that think they are a little girl’s dad and Charizard. Did we mention that Charizard is pretty great? Well, Mako will surely say a few things about that and all those other previously mention things. It is movie time with Mako which means it will be a great time. So make sure to make some popcorn as you listen to this one hour and half episode of the Pikapi Podcast!
EXP Share Podcast: My Team’s Got Roles for Days- The EXP Share Band get together for their own brand of competitive battling talk. After their update on the EXP Share Tournament, they talk about about the different roles that can be found on a Pokemon team. Ever heard of a Mopper? Podcast Monsters: The Mystery of The Lighthouse/ Electric Shock Showdown– Andrew, Kacie and Gab are joined by comedian also musician/writer Mike Blejer. In this episode, our Podmon Trainers watch an episode about an abnormally large mystery Pokemon that is never seen again! Then they watch an episode featuring one of the most intense battles in Pokemon and the first real bonding episode between Ash and Pikachu. So pull out your Podballs and listen to a humorous and great episode of Podcast Monsters!
Pokemon Mystery Universe: Murkrow Punch– The PMU Crew get together to talk about a little bit of Pokemon and a lot of Super Smash Bros. There was a lot of big reveals in a trailer to talk about two characters from Smash. They even provide an update in their standing in the EXP Share Tournament and how a little black bird had helped provide a big win.
The Underground Podcast: Mega Evolve! Part 3: The VG– Sam and the Underground Guys finish off their three part series on Mega Evolution by talking about it’s involvement on the video game. They go over every Mega Pokemon and what each one of them brings to the competitive scene. One of those Pokemon enjoys taking their child to work and maybe throws that child at the same time. So make sure to listen to this episode to at least find out which Pokemon does this.
