This is such a good podcast. I was listening in early 2022 and I was sad that they stoped making episodes but when I checked most recently the had new ones! And I think that all of the episodes are amazing so keep up the good work!

expansive and fun ★★★★★
I’m not usually too into fan theories on my favorite franchises — but this show is oddly different in that even if the fan theory is the pokémon equivalent to a bizarre Mephisto is everywhere Wandavision theory, even if the discussion is just what do we want to see and think we could see in the future games, types of Pokemon, etc., The discussion is always cast into “well what if it were this ” and it’s very expansive. I don’t expect to see Mega Snom … but I like that if there were the possibility that a Mega Snom could exist, this show would spend time thinking of why. I don’t always agree with the rankings, but I’ve found that listening helps me to see where I’m biased and sometimes that lesson helps me in the real world too. As Legends ZA is so far away I am glad to have this little drip of possibilities, and even more glad even if none of them turn out, it’s a bit of a game in itself guessing what could be coming.

A PMD You Can Hear ★★★★★
I don’t have enough good words to say about Not A Scratch; they take a cult classic crossover and give it new life. A new and colorful world, combined with unforgettable characters and the best dynamic trio to tell this story make for a thrill ride that keeps you coming back every Tuesday for more while keeping much of the core elements of both a PMD story and a tabletop actual play in place; classic items both common and, dare I say, legendary, make an appearance, as well as occasional Mystery Dungeon explorations, not to mention a story that leaves three new questions to be asked when one is solved. And all this is just the story itself; when Anirudh takes two of his good friends in Mansour and Muhammad on this buck wild ride, the commentary is as enjoyable as the adventure… even if sometimes 20 minutes get cut from the publication at once because they aside way too far off the main track. The community is one of the best I’ve seen from a podcast, the cast being as interactive with their community as friends might be with each other; their Discord server is the hallmark of that sense of community, and Anirudh especially loves to find new ways to engage the community, whether it’s a giveaway to get a plush of one of the characters’ species at the end of Arc 1 or what will be by the end of Feb 2021 TWO CANON one-shots in the world of the official podcast featuring guest players making their mark on the world they follow.

I really can’t say much more even though I want to, but if you’ve been searching for a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon-themed actual play, or even if you’re like Mansour and Muhammad and haven’t done much with Pokemon in years and wanna try something different, this is the podcast for you!

…But maybe being Arestortle, the Wholesome’st Turtwig on the Internet makes me too wholesome.

Those were all awesome reviews! And there are many more as well! We hope that reading these reviews will make you want to write a review too! So go out there and let your favorite Pokemon podcasters know that you love their podcast!
